This is the second time in about a month I am posting this video in response to a southlick food related post
The chain said the limited-time sandwiches come with five sources of heat: ghost pepper jack cheese, fiery hot seasoning, fire-roasted jalapenos and Diablo BBQ sauce, served on a red chipotle bun. Arby’s said the sandwich is “so spicy, we had to include a free vanilla shake to cool your mouth down between bites.” The Diablo Dare will be available through Feb. 6 at participating locations nationwide and starts at $5.99, including the free snack-size shake.
I'm in the biggest loser thread so I know I have sinned. I spent all day painting my Mom's basement walls (and your Mom's face) and I caved in and got two Popeye's Spicy Chicken Sandwiches. The Bun was different, in a bad way, the breast was half the size as before, and the breading was mush. Terrible. I have asked for the Ch'King from Burger King with Extra sauce and most of time when you order it that way they dip the breast in the sauce. At this moment in history it is a better Sandwich.
Had it on a road trip to Charleston and it was massive. I was beyond full and had to shit immediately. 11/10 Also rattled that the people were nice and the food came out fast as fuck. We allocated 20 minutes to get it
What I recently ate wasn't legit. I feel like they straight up took a frozen Tyson chicken patty and some Walmart buns and sold it to me. Nothing I just ate was what they actually sell outside of the sauce and pickles.
Giant pieces of fried chicken aren’t very healthy. But are you sure you aren’t looking at the full meal?
Based off of their Whopper, which was the easiest way to clearly derive the breakdown of protein vs bun and toppings: Single: 660 Double: 900 Triple: 1130 That puts the whopper no cheese at around 420 calories of bun and toppings, and I have to assume that the mayo of the Ch’King has a higher calorie content, and the different bun probably has more as well, as it was probably loaded with butter in the dough.
CFA chicken is better, but still good, fries were mediocre. Sweet Heat sauce was good. Placed the order online and it was 10 minutes late being ready.
The god damn spicy chicken sandwich. You added some other bullshit sauce to a plain sandwich or some shit.
I’ll concede that it may take multiple attempts to get a nice fresh and substantial filet. I’ve had two completely opposite filets in the same order of two sandwiches.
Their sandwich is plain unless you slather it in a spicy mayo. This is where CFA has an advantage to me. No sauce needed for the spice. If Popeye’s would use their spicy breading that they use for every other type of chicken they do then it would be much better.
It’s not really mayo so much as a creamy spicy sauce. For real, you’re not getting the experience America is raving about without that orange goodness.
