Not surprised given it's not exactly the Academy's type of movie, but I loved Pig and held out some hope it would get a couple noms.

Dunno who you knock out in the Best Actress category for her, but thought Alana Haim was excellent in Licorice Pizza.

Nightmare Alley is on HBO max and I thought it was pretty good.

Dune and the Last Duel were two of best cinematic experiences I've had. Now this might be because we didn't get to go to movie theaters for bit and I'm a Dune guy, but King Richard over The Last Duel? I know the Williams sisters succeed in life. I don't know how this duel is going to work out.

I liked Licorice Pizza but it would have been much better with a plot that didn't constantly jump from one thing to another. It was like I was watching a few random episodes of a good TV show thrown together.

would be much less embarrassing to accept the fact they are a niche program now (just like everything else that isnt the national football league)

but congrats on drawing zero extra viewers with an extended encanto music montage that the most interested parties will just watch on twitter or youtube like they always would have
