I’ve never seen a hat offered for sale in four installment payments. If the Bengals lose and you don’t make payments two through four, will send a repo man to get the hat?
Izzy’s Turkey Reuben for lunch today, with a potato pancake. I haven’t been to Izzy’s in years, but was disappointed that they no longer name their sandwiches after famous Bengals. Joe Walter is the only one left on the menu.
I also haven’t been to the Precinct in a while, but googled their menu to note that, in addition to Collingsworth, you can order a side of Burrow now, which is Louisiana crawfish with blackened seasoning.
It was. The first half was a bit choppy, but once the lights went down, the volume went up, the players came out and they started blowing shit up, it was great.
That's funny. I thought they looked like the opening ceremony of the Olympics walking out in the matching sweats last night, waving and recording the crowd.
In the last game at Riverfront in 1999, the Bengals beat the Browns. In the restroom at halftime, I saw a Browns fan dressed as Mimi from the Drew Carey show get beat up. The cops arrested the Bengals fan, who started screaming that Venus Flytrap would kick Drew Carey’s ass. As they led him away, the whole restroom started singing the WKRP theme song.
I’ve always regretted that it was pre-camera phone. Mimi got clocked because the guy was trying to shove a box of dog biscuits into the Bengal fan’s face, while barking.
Big fan of Duke Tobin and I agree that he deserves to be Executive of the Year. And TIL that Justin Hill is coaching for the Bengals this year, I like them even more now. I've had beers with James Casey and he's a fun guy to be around, he spent a lot of his college and pro playing career and early years thereafter here in Houston.
this is the kind of person who would be a die hard chargers "fan" if they were the LA team playing in the super bowl
