Yeah I’m gonna pass at going down a sheet of ice on a bullet sled 80mph head first where you’re going so fast that g-forces cause your helmet to drag on the ground prohibiting you from seeing if you’re about to slam into a wall or not.
Americans wiping out left and right in snowboard cross, which is wickedly fun to watch (the sport, not the Americans wiping out)
Missed the figure skating last night. Chen just shit on everyone in every possible way. That was amazing. That free skate would have also been a record had he not already broken that record 2 years ago.
Don't know if this is making the rounds yet but China's men's hockey team is comprised entirely of their professional KHL team. That team consists of 70% American, Canadian, Russian and Euro players. The roster (the official one used by the media and official scorekeepers), which includes Chris Chelios' kid, does not include any of their given names. All of their names have been translated into Chinese (or as close as possible) so as to give the idea they're all home grown players. An interesting tactic. USA whipped them, 8-0, though.

Ive seen a few places suggesting he has something that hasn’t been done before which could win gold, but idk how legit it is or if it’s just BS hype to get people to watch
I want to believe that White has been sandbagging and he’s got a triple cork in him. I think he and Hirano are the only two that would try it, based upon my extensive watching of 15 minutes of event previews.
I have no idea how scoring goes, but didn’t Shaun white get like a 95 the year he didnt win gold? edit - 90 but these guys are doing crazy stuff so far and scores seem low but idk https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snowboarding_at_the_2014_Winter_Olympics_–_Men's_halfpipe
If he nails the triple cork and White nails the back to back 1400s, the triple cork easily wins right?
