It is 65 degrees rn and we're going to have a winter storm involving snow and ice tonight what the fuck
Nothing like taking my dog to the dog park over lunch in shorts and a long sleeve shirt today knowing that I'll be taking him for a walk in snow boots tomorrow.
We just spent a couple hundred to reserve a Science City Lego robot bday party experience. Science city, the imax and the planetarium are all pretty cool there. We haven’t done the holocaust exhibit yet but I’ve heard it’s incredible as well
That's not long enough to be considered a local. I've been here 14 yrs and didn't consider myself a native until I hit a decade.
Shooting at Olathe East today https://www.kctv5.com/2022/03/04/po...w11n8_4QVYuw39zp1X8Xdp5-NTjCs5RCUpDTCS8JUUerY
Saw that. I live a couple of minutes from there.Sounds like half of JoCo police show up when it's mostly suburban white kids.
I'm heading down to PNL for the Big 12 tournament around 11:00 a.m. I'd have preferred a 65 degree day, but all day snow could be weirdly fun as well. If anyone else will be around and wants to have a beer, DM me. I'm going to the afternoon session only, I think. If anyone is trying to obtain tickets for both sessions (11 rows up on the free throw line lower level), also DM me lol. My friend wants $300 a ticket for both sessions, which seems like an alright deal.
Anybody live in the Roeland Park or Mission area? After casually looking on and off for the past 12-18 months, I'm going to be selling my condo this spring/summer and am eying those neighborhoods off Johnson drive. I'm open to starter homes in Fairway or Prairie Village too, but it seems like I can get more bang for my buck in Mission/Roeland Park based on the houses I've toured in the past 6 months.
Went and toured a couple houses over lunch, and one was such a shitty flip job that it killed the enthusiasm I woke up with this morning lol. Oh well, onto the next.
Oh wow, I just saw they snuck in a measure in that bill that “80% of all sports wagering revenue shall go to attracting professional teams to the state of Kansas”. Sports books will pay for the Chiefs new super stadium out at legends.
