Womens semi great British vs Sweden going to an extra end gbr scored 3 in the 9th to go up 11-8 and then choked the lead away in the 10th with some truly baffling decisions
she's an obnoxious 18 year old but I dare you to find someone who wins 3 olympic medals (2 gold), is a model, probably knows all of the numbers of pi and can play them on the piano...and isn't obnoxious. I bet she can even complete the cinnamon and milk challenges at the same time while walking up a pyramid a milk crates.
It was hard to watch. Felt really bad for Scherbokova. Her Olympic moment sitting alone in the seating area while her coaches are yelling at Valyeva and the ginger is raging that her 5 quad program deserved to win.
Oh is that why the ginger was saying she wasn’t going out for the ceremony? Do we know if she did? What a shitshow.
https://www.reuters.com/lifestyle/s...fers-frozen-penis-mass-start-race-2022-02-20/ The men's 50km mass start race at the Beijing Games was shortened to 30km but that did little to help Finland's Remi Lindholm, who needed a heat pack at the end of the race to thaw out a particularly sensitive body part. Lindholm spent just under an hour and 16 minutes traversing the course in howling, freezing winds, leading to his penis becoming frozen for the second time in a cross-country skiing race following a similar incident in Ruka, Finland last year. "You can guess which body part was a little bit frozen when I finished (the men's Olympic 50km race) ... it was one of the worst competitions I've been in. It was just about battling through," he told Finnish media. With organisers worried about frostbite during Saturday's race, it was delayed by an hour and shortened by 20km. The thin suits and under-layers worn by racers, as well as plasters to cover their faces and ears, offered little protection. Lindholm explained that he used a heat pack to try to thaw out his appendage once the race was over. "When the body parts started to warm up after the finish, the pain was unbearable," he added.
How you gonna not learn from the first time you froze your dick off and wrap that thing in a sweater with a hot hands?
Posted this in the RTT recently but Matt Boling from UGA is now the second person to ever break 10 in the 100, 20 in the 200, and 8 meters in the long jump. The first was Carl Lewis.
He’s running much better but unfortunately he appears really good at a lot of events and but not elite enough to make an international final in any of them. Unfortunately (for him) the 200m team is STACKED. Case in point.
His most recent 200 and 100 were not wind aided. He’s running really well right now. Hell, the 19.92 was into a headwind
Two things can be true. He is much better than last year outdoors but he’s also no closer to making an American international team than he was in 2020/2021. The US is absolutely stacked in the 100/200. Kerley/Brommel/Coleman (Bracy, Baker, and Micah Williams too) in the 100. Knighton/Lyles/Bednarek/Kerley/Laird in the 200. Hell even Michael Norman is running the 200 in like 19.9 low along with Boling. Idk what he should do. Try the 400? Become a decathlete? Hope to make a team and win a medal on a relay team maybe.
