Is this a “shot twice in the back of the head” suicide or legit? Either way, seems like things are going swimmingly at the Kremlin!
this is what confused me In the first gulf war, didn’t the US blow their post Cold War load and just let loose everything we had? really weird Putin hasn’t tried to “show off” their latest stuff. Maybe he’s holding it back? Maybe it’s shit and doesn’t work? real question is what did we know they were capable of doing?
Why are people acting like the war is over and Russia has lost? This war is only a few days old. It took the US 3 weeks to take Baghdad in 2003 and that was considered a very short time frame; acting like Russia has lost the war makes no sense.
There are unconfirmed reports of mass surrenders by Russian columns that have run out of fuel/food/ammo. Really hard to figure out what’s true and what isn’t.
no one is acting like they are going to win on this war on the battlefield by themselves however, the Russians still haven’t taken the skies. They haven’t really taken any cities of importance. They are running out of fuel and look to have serious supply chain issues
Lots of big baby talk on Twitter of Russia’s lack of success and now severe sanctions is going to push him into a corner and that he may do something crazy to avoid embarrassment. The other option is to just give him what he wants? Let him take Kiev? Apply light sanctions? Fuck that
They may take Ukraine (temporarily) but they’ve already lost. That happened as soon as the Ukrainians showed they would fight back. Putin gambled everything on the Ukrainians feeling like he did and he was dead wrong.
iraq also didn’t have the full support of the western world behind it and there was no risk of nuclear war
Care to expand on why? I don't know enough about this subject to have an opinion, but I'm trying to learn and forms one. Edit : chuckmasterflex
I do have to admit. I feel like it’s preseason and I’m getting worked up by the local sports journalist.
Really solid article around why Russian mechanized forces are struggling so much. I have seen it elsewhere, that tanks are an incredible asset on the battlefield, but without infantry to protect them and root out those with ATGM, they are very vulnerable. https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/why-the-russians-are-struggling/
That’s my bad then. Didn’t read through since it was from ELINT News, and their tweets/info have been accurate so far. Plus saw something this morning that the VDV were expected in soon. Figured it was only a matter of time. Good news for Kyiv tho. But burst clouds compared to paratroopers should be easy to verify if they have sources in the city.
Might be but Kiev is the city getting bombed right now, not Moscow. Way premature to say anything about Putin being deposed or whatever people have dreamed up.
I know there are easily accessible and basic reasons why the US isn’t sending assets to fight Russia in Ukraine but what I really don’t understand is why
I know it's days old, but if you haven't, you really need to watch the coverage of the invasion on Fox News the first day it happened. Clips really don't do it justice. It is fundamentally pathetic, and I have no idea how anyone with any amount of self-respect watches that channel voluntarily
So crazy how powerful individuals and corporations have become. Sending my private space fleet to help!
