They dropped thanks giving dinner for 150 people out of the back of a plane for my FOB in Syria. That’s DoD logistics
Yeah we talked about this earlier in the thread. They are not even the first. There are other US citizens, UK citizens and many other NATO based citizens fighting in Ukraine already. Not saying it’s like thousands or anything but they are the strange fuckers who thrive off of combat.
as someone who understands the global financial and currency markets like an expert, I’d like to say that I’ve emptied my savings accounts to purchase rubles for pennies on the dollar and am 100% confident it won’t backfire in any way
They are Duke in the NCAA tourney under Coach K the last decade. An overinflated view of themselves with all the talent and advantages you can imagine, but are led by an aging mad man who can’t get his guys to perform when it matters most and they get sent home early.
So to tie this all up. We are watching the first half of CJ McCollum and Lehigh cook Duke in the tournament.

I get he has an iron grip on his regime, but you know, there's only one group of people that can take care of this. I have a lot of empathy for the journalists and citizens of Russia that have desperately wanted him gone for decades. But also, [shrug]. The sanctions are gonna hurt a lot of innocent people. And the only acceptable result of this decades long shit show is regime change, and if that's what it takes, that's what it takes
I get that part. I guess it just doesn't look like they have gotten that far to me as a unit or an advancing army.
as much of the ukraine success is great militarily russia will still win over a long enough time frame. its just whether its painful enough and diplomatically pressured to get russia to back off.
But how will they get them there? honestly, Western Ukraine will launch an offensive at some point I would guess if Kyiv falls
Yeah, they won't send them to Kyiv is my guess; the Russians haven't come close to getting control of every city, so it wouldn't be too difficult to pick at the rear of the encirclement around Kiev.
