It was 230 for me again. But I rejoined the gym since I found out I have a physical to qualify for some collateral duties at work that I forgot was coming up this winter. Maybe that'll help.
212.8 now...so it took 8 days to lose the weight I gained in a 5 hour window. I never cracked 1700 cal at any point in those 8 days, with one day being 1,000 cal and another being 1,300. YAY 42 year old metabolism!
Oh, side note. I was diagnosed with Celiac disease on Thursday. Only 1% of the population has been diagnosed with this, and only 1 out of 3 that have it have weight gain/trouble losing weight from it. I'm nutrient deficient all across the board, despite the fact that I take plenty of daily vitamins and already eat a paleo diet that mostly doesn't include Gluten anyways.
200 again after a week of falling off the wagon. embarassing effort. Back at it today, OMAD diet + crossfit class at 630
Probably more so than ever before in my life, I'm changing the way I eat with this diet. I honestly didn't have a vegetable from October to January. Cooking something green every night now. Definitely a trial and error finding things I like but it's going ok.
Initial: 353.4 Week 1: 354.6 Week 2: 353.2 Week 3: 351.1 Week 4: Miss Week 5: 354.2 Had a bad couple of weeks with being pretty busy on weekends and evenings, ate like shit. Put together the last few days pretty well, trying to get back on track.
From what I’ve read so far it’s a mixture of dried and powdered superfoods and greens that you can mix and drink to get all of the nutrients from such foods in an easy fashion.
237.7 Really need to get back into an exercise routine. Should be a quite remainder of the week and weekend that could hopefully get me back in order.
1/19/22 - 185.8 - Initial 1/25/22 - 183.2 2/2/22 - 181.6 2/9/22 - 182 2/16/22 - 181 2/22/22 - 181.2 People need to stop bringing King Cake to work...and I need to stop eating free king cake at work.
Week 0: 198.6 Week 1: 191.2 Week 2: 187.0 Week 3: 187.0 Week 4: 185.6 Week 5: 182.6 First time I’ve been below 185 since freshman year of college.
Week 0 (1/17): 282.5 Week 1 (1/28): 272.4 Week 2: (2/4): 270.2 Week 3: (2/11): 267.6 Week 4: (2/18): 265.2 Week 5: (2/25): 263.6
I haven't lost 20 lbs but am at 14. I imagine others could be in similar situation to me in I let myself go toward the end of football season/holidays and gained a bunch of weight. Zero exercise, lots of junk food and alcohol. I honestly haven't done much the last month other than cardio a few days a week, portion control, IF, and light booze consumption. My normal weight over last decade has been about 215-220 and have never really had any issues getting to that when I implode some. Getting below 215 is a big challenge for me though and will really need to step it up soon.
Start: 174.1 Week 1: 172.4 Week 2: 171.1 Week 3: 170.2 Week 4: 168.8 Week 5: 171.3 I’ve been home for one night in the past 10 due to a wedding in the Keys immediately followed by a work trip. I’ve been drunk and ate like shit for pretty much the entire time. I knew this would be a bad week but I’ll take it. Bounce back incoming.
I was a disaster coming in so.. Switched from Coke to coke zero and started drinking water throughout the day. Stopped having snacks. (Which a lot of times were fast food/ice cream/candy milkshakes) Cut out breakfast except on the weekend and fast until 12 the other days. Started walking 30ish minutes a day when possible. Also going to bed earlier. Cut out most carbs and sugar. Started eating lots of green vegetables. I've moved away from the idea of an entire cheat day and just do cheat meals. Have changed my mindset to where messing up and eating bad doesn't trigger a bender where I say fuck it and fall back into bad habits for a week.
Start - 261.9 1/24 - 260.6 1/31 - 259.7 2/7 - 258.0 2/14 - 258.1 2/25 - 260.4 It’s been a bad few weeks at my house. I promise the diet starts Monday.
I lost 10 lbs of what I assume was mostly water weight on Week 1. Since then I've mostly been hovering between losing 1.5 lbs to 2.5 lbs a week. I don't think 20lbs a month is very realistic for any long period of time. I've been Intermittent fasting, only eating between 1-9 or 2-10, depending on the day. Lunch is usually some kind of salad, with chicken or fish. I've ben using a meal service for dinner that helps me control portion sizes. Snacks are usually nuts, Greek yogurt, or fruit. I try to limit these to only a 2 a day of 200ish calories. No liquid calories or deserts. Exercise has been hit or miss especially with the crappy weather recently. Once it warms up and I can actually work out in my garage consistently, I can add more of that. Losing weight is like 80% diet
Back down after a blip upwards. Still feeling great and eating clean. Four months of no alcohol either.
Have a rehearsal dinner and a wedding tomorrow. I'm not a drinker so that won't be an issue. Need to avoid the buffet line and the cake. I'm not in the wedding party and have two young kids.. Probably going to use them to bail early both nights.
266.6 this week. Had a rough week. Wife and I went to the Pine Club this week and then had my sons two year old birthday.
209.0 this morning. Would've been better but I went to a concert last night and drank some so I'm still carrying some of that. Sometimes you just have to go enjoy some bluegrass though!
Not eating as much. No fast food. Walking more. Stairs at work. 246.2 this morning. almost through Mardi Gras. Next challenge will be all the crawfish boils
223.2. My entire family has a nasty stomach bug.. I'm just waiting for it to hit me. May crawl to the scale and post quite the number next week.
Initial: 353.4 Week 1: 354.6 Week 2: 353.2 Week 3: 351.1 Week 4: Miss Week 5: 354.2 Week 6: 352.9 Again, had a bad back half of the week with a million things going on. Had a good day yesterday and going to try and keep it up and make a 21-day run. Taking a trip in 3 weeks and I’d like to feel a little less gross.
207.2 now. What little gluten I was having was clearly causing problems. The only concern now is that I feel like i'm eating my brains out and have only been between 1,000-1,300 calories since cutting out gluten. I can't handle more than a 6oz serving of food at a time. Somehow my energy is through the roof, though. I'm seeing a GI specialist today, so i'll have more answers hopefully.
