Just realized that this is absolutely brutal for Michigan. If Micic loses to cbass and red, he misses out on NCAAs, right?
Tin foil cap time: Is it possible that Micic lost on purpose after he saw Red lose? Instead of having to beat one of either CBass or Chad Red, he now has to go through Danny Bertoni, Cayden Rooks, and Joey Zargo. Regardless, he probably has an easier road to qualification with the loss than he would if he had won.
Jordan Burroughs continues to say how the best match ups are the 8-9 seeds like we have never seen a bracket or understand how seeds work.
I like him.... obviously but I heard that too and thought, "you think?!?" He's going to really be amazed when he finds out a lot of the championship matches end up 1 vs 2 seeds
Btw their #B1GQuadBox that they're so proud of is just dumb. It takes up 70% of the screen and even on my 65" TV it makes it hard so see the names and school abbreviations. Hell our high school state tournament on PBS has a "quad box" that at least takes up the full screen.
He's got the most potential but he never dominates anyone. He looks like a beast but always seems so satisfied with just getting by.
They haven't talked about the team standings but Iowa has lost a lot of these quarterfinal matches it feels like. Guessing PSU gonna run away with it?
Michigan tied with PSU right now, they went 8-0 in the quarters. Pretty down round for Iowa, took some losses and Eierman/Kem both look to be not 100%.
This Ray Flores guy doing the interviews is making my skin crawl. He tries so hard to have the stereotypical formal newscaster voice. His inflection and sheer volume is absurd.
Kerkvilet is just the softest wrestler mentally. infinite talent, and no commitment, work ethic, or wrestling intelligence
Mekhi got the revenge vs Hidlay. That was fun. Latona Comacho and Andonian Wilson should be electric this evening. Think State has the team race in control.
