Went Burger King because I have not had a Ch’King before and it was the wrong choice. Not bad but Popeyes is better.
Tried the sandwich from bojangles today.. It was good. Popeyes has definitely changed the game. The massive breast is the new normal it seems.
I see a thick slice of what appears to be unmeltable cheese on top, and it looks like they ladled some of the fryer grease on top of the top bun
Comes with pickles and mayo. I got it with just mayo and cheese. There was some spice to it. Wasn't in your face but as you ate it the heat developed. Good sandwich. There was no one in line so in that scenario I recommend it every time.
I very much enjoyed the one ch’king I’ve had. BK is typically dog food so my expectations were low but I’d eat again for sure. Better than a lot of the Popeyes copy cats.
Wasn't that out a few years ago? I remember having a flounder sandwich with a spicy chicken. Maybe the fish wasn't spicy.
In other fish sandwich news, it looks like Arbys had introduced a spicy fish and Hardee’s has a new beer battered fish.
I was determined to get the flounder sandwich last week, but when push came to shove, when I was parked in front of that drive thru speaker and that lady asked me what I want...I couldn't not get that spicy chicken sand.
Had the Bojangles sandwich yesterday (after being disappointed by the size of the Chick Fil A sandwich I had minutes before), and it is nearly as good as Popeyes, but maybe a slight step behind. Large crispy chicken breast with good spice, mayo, pickles, and a warm soft bun. Would get again.
My kid asked for a cheeseburger Monday as we were running errands. Ended up going to steak and shake. Double cheese burger and fries for 3.99 is a solid deal. Burger was hot and fresh.
spicy flounder is great got it for lunch. up there with spiciest fast food items as it has spicy sauce and spicy breading.
Yea it certainly won't look like that. I'm not a big burger king guy but Texas toast is a great starting point.
