You think him and other leftists learned anything in the American School system that turned them into leftists ?The very same place that use to force kids to stand for the pledge of allegiance everyday and listen to dogshit songs like god bless the US????? Comon my guy, don't act like a republican
Did slavery end? (yes thanks to republican president lincoln who was also a great leader but also bad and is against states rights)
Calling the FBI. Can I Spliff it needs to know we aren't allowed to be critical of our government. It spits in the face of the founding fathers or something.
Someone bought time on the electronic billboards that line I-71 in Cincinnati. Saw three of them flip to pro-Ukraine messages on my morning commute.
Here is up to date map. No time this morning to go too deep on it but not a ton of changes these days. No major cities have fallen and the hot spots from the past week are the same hot spots. Russia is making some consolidation moves in the north east as they continue to try to build up around Kyiv. They keep pushing north/west as well in the south west portion of Ukraine which is odd since they still seem to be ignoring Odesa for the most part.
saw women are giving birth in basements with no electricity because Russians are targeting power plants and hospitals
I have no idea the pros/cons and what affects it would have in this hypothetical, so I don't have an answer to your questions. My point was about Ukrainians having the Azov fight and people acting like it's a big deal. I've never been at war and am too selfish to fight, but I would think that I'd be willing to work with people (alt-right) that I wouldn't ever work with in a normal scenario.
the last 45 seconds of the movie motion picture the kingdom taught me that people of different backgrounds and beliefs are often fighting for the same things hth
Info on Starstreak: - After launch, the missile accelerates to more than Mach 4;making it the fastest short-range surface-to-air missile in the world. - It uses three laser beam-riding submunitions, increasing the likelihood of a successful hit on the target. - Better than infared ( Russians have been putting trees around their tanks to throw off infared) and Javelins - Range is 7 km Advantages It cannot be jammed by infrared countermeasures or radar/radio countermeasures.[10] It cannot be suppressed with anti-radar missiles
Putin is a Cold War guy. Both our ahole countries waged proxy wars for decades. Let’s cut the shit and just pretend it’s 1980, arm Ukraine and drop in some CIA dickheads for good measure.
It’s very brave of you to be willing to fight and arm people that have no issues with you but want to kill and terrorize people who don’t look like you.
Based on what I gather it seems like the current situation is: Zelensky has an offer on the table if he accepts they get their independence, Russia gets Donbas, they shrink their army, pledge to not join NATO, and recognize pro-Russian dissidents. The not means Russia continues with the all out war. Imagine having to make a decision like that one, fuck.
doesnt seem that hard given Russia will just try again when they have no military or nato to back them u
Yea the article I read didn’t mention the EU but I figured it was off the table. Agree that whittling your army down just invites Russia to invade again, Putin doesn’t seem like he holds a grudge or anything. Assuming he lives to see that day.
You just know you are committing to all out war and thousands of your countrymen and woman will die. I think that would keep me up at night but that’s just me.
So is this..... Lyrtch you've given your opinion, though I would like to see you flesh out your solutions more. I am in the camp that the less people die needlessly, the better, whatever that means. Ideally, our short term actions don't turn into long term repercussions, despite history indicating they will. If I come down too firmly in the "Arm Ukraine" camp (my Nimitz comment was too far, admittedly), it is because of the injustice being carried out against Ukranian citizens, especially children and elderly. There does need to be accountability for armament donations, but that is a hard thing to justify while people are literally being killed. There's bound to be an elegant solution to some of these urgent problems, and I feel like we've done a pretty good job thus far. Agreed that the media coverage is lacking or distorted in many ways which is entirely counterproductive.
Outside of a NATO vs. Russia war, it's hard to imagine a future scenario where the world is as allied against Russia as it is now. Really hope that everyone sticks to their sanctions.
Why was that childrens hospital provoking russia? -foreign policy professor who think its still 1959 and the world is a giant risk board.
You could also gamble Putins in failing health and when he dies you have no idea who will succeed him.
If you’re Ukraine you pretty much have to get everything you can right now I would say they formally cede The Crimea and in return they can join NATO and the EU. That’s about the only deal I would take as Zelensky but anything that doesn’t end in them joining NATO delays the inevitable, and potentially shifts the balance of power for the west down the road
