Clark seems like the type to get a 1 year prove it deal, play all pro caliber, then get a huge deal and fade away again.
Wanted the guy from Kentucky, but I guess maybe we should be prepared for Andy to keep cycling in his proteges and friends on the offensive staff these last few years until he's done coaching. Nagy did a good job with Alex Smith in 2017 when Albert Wilson was the no. 2 WR lol.
32 features prominently in 2/5 photos on their latest tweet, likely aimed at the bronco passing attack
Fucking hell. 100% chance that the shit he has on Andy would land Andy in federal prison. That’s the only explanation. got tricked by new Twitter. Point still stands.
Not a soul left on this defense that can be both a leader and signal caller. They could not line themselves up for shit without that man on the field. Hopefully Reid can bring some of that. Gay and Bolton need to show up in a big way this year.
Will always love HB for the SB runs, but everything said to let him walk. Slowing down, getting older and wanted to allegedly be the top paid safety in the NFL. We just couldn't. Justin Reid is a good replacement at a good price. Can't complain. Fucking ugh that Frank is back, though.
I don't think he was worth bringing back even at 1.5 million. Not after watching 3rd string tackles drag him. Don't need anymore players taking off months.
A 4 sack rotational guy (which I’m hoping is what he is next year) would cost more than 1.5M. also, sounds like we’ll know about Ward soon Edit: yup
Reid and Clark are both good moves imo. Frank sucks but it’s a question of cutting him and replacing him, and that’s an expensive task
Yeah the cost would be greater, but ideally there would be upside with someone else. Not seeing the upside here. Sucks we lost Ward. Would of matched that deal.
Veach has made absurdly cheap competent CBs appear out of thin air for four years now, we are never going to pay a CB under him
I would assume they will pursue Gladney since they were allegedly hot and bothered for him before the Vikings took him and they had to settle for CEH. I mean worked out great because we got Sneed later, but now why not both?
Not upset about ward. He was fine, but never going to be worth a new contract imo. Hope he does well.
5 @ 28 is the new benchmark. With the organization standing by him I could see a 4 @ 26is deal getting done for Hill.
I love Tyreek, probably more than most, but I'm not sure I'd do much more than 20/year for him, especially 4+ years. His skill set won't age well. We just need to do a better job of finding replacements than fucking Hardman or Robinson or Pringle.
I would have drafted WR last year instead of Bolton or Humphrey. Obviously those worked out and I'm a moron, but I stand by it.
Pay reek. This is our window. Maximize it with top talent. I’m sure there’s plenty of contract language that we could use to could get us out of it if Reek was to lose a step.
we should absolutely pay Tyreek. he’s 1 of 1, the dude is an alien. what’s more, the last year or so when teams took away his deep routes, he instantly adapted and changed his game to beat them another way. he’s one of the most unique athletes to ever play in the nfl
JuJu is a good add. Was afraid they would overpay and they did not. Short term is fine for him to prove it was all Ben sucking. Veach quietly making great moves.
Still think we need to grab a WR in rounds 1-3. Seems like there will be a good amount of talent available at 30
Mahomes is now the third highest paid QB in the league by average annual value and his contract extension hasn’t started
Maybe. I think he's aiming to reset the market and the Adams contract makes that harder to do. Might take longer to get it done.
