I've also had plenty of people ask for A-1 and figured out they were wanting A-5, which is always a whirlwind of confusion for both the server and the customer of if they want to ruin their steak or order the most expensive thing on the menu

I think you'd be surprised by the amount of servers here that have no idea what A-1 is and the amount of customers that say A-1 thinking it's better than A-5. It's a heavily transplant city that is very difficult to staff and has a lot of tourism - it happens.

Went to a new hotdogs place a couple weeks ago when the wait at the local Italian joint I still haven't tried was 45 minutes on a Tuesday (Guess I have to blame Guy Fieri for putting putting them on DDD). Anyway they did a hotdog "slider" plate but the slidsrs were like normal sized dogs instead of footlongs so they were still pretty big loaded dogs. Had a breakfast dog with hashbrowns and am Asian dog with teriyaki and grilled veggies. All of it was p good.

Went HAM at a ramen spot for dinner last night. Add in some beers/sake and there isn’t enough water in the world to quench my thirst. I think I’ve taken down 96oz in liquids since last night and I’m still completely parched. A truckload of salt and 4-5 drinks is a brutal hangover in your 40s.
