This is like 3 for 3 and should be a recruiting pitch for us at this point. Put up freshman and sophomore pictures of him, DG, and Milton. Then tell recruits that we will turn you from an awkward HS QB to a beautiful full grown ass man QB in one full off season
I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for his and the offense’s struggles last year. He did ok for being a freshman thrown into it. On top of that the dude that should have been helping him the most was too busy selling socks and leaving. The offense was a product of Gus having to make chicken salad out of chicken shit and carving up his playbook for the players he had on the field. that said I’m TC guy, he the future, hopefully he doesn’t need to play this year and just gets to learn

Glad to read Lewis is all in on this. Elite athlete if he can be healthy. Also liked this: When speaking with reporters, Brown was asked who stood out to him during UCF’s first spring practice. The junior defensive back cited true freshman and Apopka product Nikai Martinez, who is one of four early enrollees this spring from UCF’s 2022 high school recruiting class. Martinez received honorable mention for the Sentinel’s 2021 All-Area football team. “He’s adjusting well,” Brown said. “He’s quiet like me but seems to be picking [things] up well. I like what I’m seeing from him out there, just picking up on the plays.” Martinez missed most of his senior season this past fall because of a knee injury but returned in the Florida 8A playoffs to make 2 interceptions for touchdowns on 154 return yards, helping Apopka reach the 8A title game. During a portion of practice when the team ran 7-on-7 drills, Martinez had to defend a go route — when a receiver runs in a straight line deep down the field in an attempt to create space from the cornerback. Brown said Martinez adjusted well and tipped the pass to avoid giving up a catch. For Brown, that was the highlight play of the first spring practice. “He’s confident out there and comfortable,” Brown said about Martinez. “He’s been impressive.”
Why do we start 2 girls that play 1/4 of the minutes the 2 light skinned girls that come off the bench?
Because the other team doesn’t deserve to be graced by the presence of Brittney Smith for the entire 40 minutes.
Seems ridiculous in hindsight but both @louisville and fiesta bowl vs Baylor have to be high up there and they are from the same season a layup vs duke would have been #1 maybe
That Duke game had like 6 things all go against us in the last two minutes. Could have gone to final four too that year with a win there.
This guy running the Cam Newton Auburn offense would be awesome, I would feel good about our future QB situation with him and Castellanos.
I think too much weight is given to that Duke moral victory , it happens in basketball especially weekend 1 .
Thinking about it. I'm glad Coach Abe's daughter Early Enrolled because I would be more worried about someone hiring her away.
This team is gonna cause almost anyone problems with defense. And shooting starting hot could make this game really interesting
I'm an expert on women's basketball so I really don't think they should have fouled the 3 point shooter and they shouldn't also travel.
I honestly don't understand the way the refs call women's basketball. Also home sites, while I understand, are so low rent.
How do the home sites work? Just for each set of 4 teams ala college baseball basically? What I don’t get is that it looks like UConn could treat ticket sales like a typical home game complete with a student section? That’s pretty stupid. If they host that’s one thing but it doesn’t need to be a complete home game atmosphere.
True but that’s just not how the mens tournament works so just going based on that for this type of tournament. Granted I think it’s just better for basketball to do it specifically. I actually endorse home games for football playoffs once it gets expanded.
Haven’t been watching. Are we actually getting screwed over by the refs or are Twitter people being homers
Big time home cooking with these refs. Did you know you could get a charge call while running? Unless women's basketball is completely different then men's, these refs suck
