It doesn't get that far...it probably cuts after 3 seconds or so. This one doesn't have a brick, so I was wondering if a cheap power supply would be a good first start. But the buzzing before it turns on makes me think it's something else
Looks like it's a goner. Do I even need a console with gamepass and play anywhere? Can I just hook up a laptop to my tv? I just want to play tunic
cloud gaming is pretty decent, no idea what kind of subscription it requires. I have Game Pass Ultimate. Tunic is on it.
Is it accessible or hard to get into? Looked a little bit overwhelming at first glance from some videos
Super duper overwhelming. More accessible than 2 but that isn't a high bar. I have played it a decent amount and still barely understand it. But it's fun. I know the basics well enough to flail around and do some cool shit but definitely don't feel like I'm even above a 5/10 in my grasp of the game mechanics and how to use them all well together. But it's still fun with just the basics
Free, easy to pick up/hard to master, and insanely addictive. You can play solo or in a team. Basically, in each game, you slowly gain "mana" and cards cost "mana". The higher cost of mana the more devastating the card. You're trying to destroy the other teams base. Each game is like 2-6 minutes long and leaves you wanting more. Gin Buckets and I play it often.
Nope, you don't need a console anymore. I am not sure how it would go connecting your laptop to a TV...or screen sharing to a tv...I assume lag would be an issue. You can absolutely do it though.
My laptop has an hdmi port, so I use the same line from my avr that my xbox did. Works perfectly with no lag. Also tunic is fucking great
Kinda, but the things are autonomous and not really cards. It's kinda like Teamfight Tactics meets Hearthstone
So I'm wanting to get an X, but am limited via life to only being able to get it from best buy with my CC. Is there an easy way to track when they restock?
Opened up my xbox one x because it wasn't worth sending to service. It's surprisingly easy to work on. I'm gonna try wiping and reformatting the hard drive before tossing it.
It was cutting out almost immediately upon starting. The power supply is making a weird noise when I plug it in, so it's probably that. Figure I'll try the hard drive first since it's free and maybe buy a new power supply, since those are less than $50.
My Xbox one has been poop for a long time but I feel no urgency to buy the new gen because of the excellence of cloud gaming. Just started up The Show 22 with my PC connected to my tv and away we go.
In tunic, do the defense upgrades just increase the effectiveness of the shield? Or do you take less damage as well?
Better to delay than go through a Cyberpunk. Anyway, are there any good games coming out for either system the rest of the year?
Cyberpunk was delayed multiple times. Creation Engine is worse than the RED Engine. I think if they show live gameplay and it looks good at this June showcase then we will know the game has potential. If they show pre rendered shit it’s probably in trouble.
Truly blows my mind why game companies don't do the Skyrim or Apex Legends method...wait til it's a relatively finished product before announcing it. It feels like any delay has a much larger negative impact than a shorter marketing runway would ever have.
I think Stalker 2 is still planning to be released in December. Also Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2...actually super pumped for that after the doodoo buckets they've released the last two years.
It has definitely got some jank to it, but very fun. Kind of like a more fluid Friday the 13th game with smaller mobs to take out. I think the melee based and support survivors are the best because ammo can sometimes be very scarce. It seems like the kandarian demon is so much more powerful than the others, or at least that’s who it felt like we’d always lose to. The fear mechanic has a bit of a learning curve. I haven’t gotten to try it yet, but i think it would be a great time if you can get 5 people on for a full private game.
Spoiler Completing the Suicide Mission on Legendary difficulty without losing any crew members on my very first playthrough of the game is still one of my favorite gaming moments.
This game is actually getting released?? I followed for years and just gave up after they went silent. Cool
