In fairness, I think y'all were a lot better in the middle of the season. I don't know if it was injury or people figuring out how to play him better, but Kessler's game impact fell off a cliff. Also, your backcourt became a liability.
Pretty clear teams figured out just make our backcourt have to beat you and that didn’t go so hot for us.

Alabama was in for a few of them before they committed to LSU. Phillips for sure was one we were in the top 5-7 for. Would love to land him.
Lots of talk that Phillips is leaning G League right now. And the speculation when Traore committed was whoever he visited on that last visit was going to get his commitment. He went to LSU over Auburn and committed. So, there’s been some national guys thinking Auburn leads right now, but these types of recruitments never seem to end well for Auburn. I’m going to say he doesn’t end up at Auburn. Kentucky and Memphis are supposedly heavily in the mix for him too.

First time hosting a #1 team in BWA and it was only bc our students wanted to and asked our AD before the game. We also stormed the field after beating #15 Texas in football which was also coordinated before the game.
No one gives a shit about Auburn. We beat the #1 team at home which just happened to be Auburn. If it had been #1 South Carolina, or #1 Wyoming, or #1 Marshall, or #1 anybody we would have rushed the court. Auburn is no one's superbowl, not even Alabama or Georgia's. Arkansas does, however, give a shit about beating Texas, whether they're #1, #15, or #100.
Pretty dumb thing to say that Pearl calling it a super bowl when we play on the road is sad and your students, before the game, beg the ad to storm the court.
