I feel like the High Roller could just rent out the pods to groups for the entire event, basically as a suite. When you have to pee or whatever, you just hop off, do your thing, and wait for your pod to cycle back.
I found this and will be excited to try this. http://arirangkoreanbbqvegas.com/ appreciated the x pot rec but wanted a more entry level price for the first time.
I lived right around the corner from there. Their claim of “5 minutes from the Strip” is certainly bold. But even 10 to 15 minutes isn’t hard to get to. LV has a plethora of really good but cheap restaurants off-Strip. Many of them are owned by Chefs and even cooks from the high end restaurants on the Strip.
Just had this pop up. Weird that this guy has never heard of single and double deck being dealt face down.
Weird question I know, but is triple zero roulette taking over? I saw it a few years back at Venitian (didn’t realize it was triple until a few spins in), but weirdly just watched that YouTuber above do a video where he plays 100 on black at every casino on the strip and I noticed a ton of triple zero roulette, which sucks.
he's just a kid that started making youtube hotel reviews and has added some gambling to his videos. He knows jack shit about gambling
I like his videos, just seems like a weird thing for someone who spends that much time in and around casinos to not have known. I haven’t played triple zero, though I don’t play much roulette in general. I remember seeing alphabet roulette at Fitzgerald’s and it made me uncomfortable to even look at.
It’s an epidemic. I think most of the strip now has triple 0. There are some places that have both double and triple. Or you can get crazy and go to Plaza for single 0
When I was at Venitian and noticed it (probably 2019), the only reason I ended up there is it was a weekend with high limits and this one was way lower. Didn’t check the wheel because I had no idea it existed. Higher house edge and I’m sure most people don’t care so I can see why it took off.
I didn’t realize I bought into a crapless craps table at Luxor until I rolled an 11 on my first come out roll and didn’t get paid.
I thought I like crap less craps until I played it for a second time and realized how bad the odds are
Had this happen when I was bordering on black out and it broke my head for a good 5 minutes and I was too embarrassed to ask if I was going crazy.
When I go to Vegas/the casino with my one friend and his family, I’ll usually play blackjack it’s probably my favorite game and when there’s a couple people I know at the table it’s fun. His family plays a ton of craps and pai gow but I haven’t played much or enough. After blackjack, I’d say roulette. Especially when I go with my GF since it’s the least intimidating and easiest to play for her. Also I like how it can just be pretty brainless. Just hate when there’s a million people and it takes 5min to round up all the chips lol
Speaking of the subject. I’ve heard your odds bet in craps doesn’t count toward your average bet. Anyone else heard this?
Just realized you quoted a post. I swear when I replied it didn’t have a quote lol I thought you just randomly popped into ask everyone
Have you ever been there? I’m not to worried about 5 Vs 15 minutes. I’ve enjoyed both places I’ve been of strip, dirt dog and I think it was called banditos.
It didn’t quote at first because of the way the post I quoted was formatted I’d like to hear answers anyway
Yep. It’s a bet with no house advantage, you ain’t getting shit for it. Lose a lot of real big ones and maybe they will hit you on the back end.
Craps 10-25 pass with 2-3x odds, maybe 10-25 elsewhere. BJ 10-25, 50 occasionally. Roulette 25-100. Slots, anywhere from .50 - $3 usually, sometimes I’ll get wild and go up to 10-25 on a giant or high limit reel machine like mega bucks or something and see what happens. I love to gamble, but I tend to stick to a very small budget. Relatively speaking, anyway. For example I brought about $800 cash for 4 days this last time.
Wrapped the work day up at the cigar bar with a couple of buddies, one of whom had just gotten back from Vegas. We had some tequila, I got the itch, drove home, told the fiancé to pack, grabbed a plane, and we’re 2 hours from Vegas. Goddamn, last minute Vegas is the best Vegas.
going to Biloxi after work tomorrow and have a comped round of golf at Fallen Oak for Norm Peterson and I Sunday morning. Gonna watch the final round of the Masters in the Sportsbook and then play some BJ. I've got 1k for a day in and half. Hopefully there's a chocolate in my future
I have a buddy that goes there quite often. Last year he played in an invite only 48 man scramble at Fallen Oak hosted by the Beau. His team won and they each got $9500 in free play.
