Finished channel zero series. Well almost. Skilled season 3 for now. Not bad.. 2 and 4 are worth a watch, but a little cheesy at times. 1, was pretty well done and good creepy vibes. I would day 1 is good 4 is pretty good 2 is ok, but enjoyable enough
Also looking for some recommendations. Anyone want to name a few of their favorite horror movies that most people wouldn’t have seen?
bringing this up because I just watched “Next of Kin” and it’s actually pretty fucking good. Also PA 3 is really good too
The new Chainsaw flick is very similar to Halloween Kills. Movie isn’t good but the kills are gory and great.
Guess it’s about expectations. Had higher hopes for The Shape and a sequel to a decent refresher film. All I wanted from TCM 2022 were dope murder death kills and I got that.
I've heard it's quite the shitty movie Which is a shame because I so want there to be another good TCM film.
im in the minority because I didn’t hate it. It was what I expected. Mindless entertainment while having a couple drinks.
TCM was perfect for what I wanted it to be, something that I leave on in the other room so when I'm working in the kitchen I can pop my head out and see someone get chainsawed. 10/10
If you get the opportunity, you should pop a mushroom and watch The Spine of Night on Shudder. It stars Lucy Lawless, and t e c h n i c a l l y she has her huge tits out for the entirety of the movie
No but I need to do that. Early reviews have been really good from what I've seen. Is it only in theaters?
I finally watched The Sacrament yesterday and I really enjoyed it, I've got a fascination with cults/Jonestown so it itched that but I thought it was really well done as well.
I know this is the movie thread, but I randomly decided to watch Ep1 of Chucky and it’s actually pretty good.
Been back in shitty movie mode, I watched Aquaslash this weekend, it's utterly awful but kind of fun. I said WTF to myself multiple times.
I dropped the $20 to rent it on Vudu, it's really good. I was a bit too high and missed some of the themes on watch 1. I need to run it back. It is very dark (visually) so watch it in a dark room or at night.
Taking my son to see the 40th anniversary rerelease of John Carpenter’s The Thing on Father’s Day. Here’s the link if anyone else is interested. https://www.fathomevents.com/events/The-Thing-40th-Anniversary
