Hope the 99 Clemente is better than last year bc that's a terrible reward if not. But I guess last year it was Chipper and Ortiz and then Soriano was dookie. Chipper and Lrtiz were in lineups for 75% of the game though.
Agreed, seems they have problems making RH bats equally as good as lefties. Mostly in the sense of, the dudes either Trout level good or just garbage. Bad news, no DH this year. So dumb.
Yeah not sure what the reasoning is for no DH but whether it makes the game more or less strategic, it's an official rule now so it's dumb to leave it out.
There are new prices for items on the market. I tried to upload the picture, wasn’t working. So here’s Reddit.
Just makes more markets overall, I like it a lot. Will be interesting to see what they do on exchanges.
More areas to make some stubs and invest. Not your standard common, bronze, silver, gold and diamond. Margins are still margins and investments are still investments. You don’t do it in hopes that they player goes down. If anything I hope this helps in bringing down the amount of people who just dump 1000 orders on a dude.
So last year it was 900 ranked or 40 wins and this year it'll be 900 ranked or X innings? That's whatever to me. After they added the 40 wins last year, making it innings instead isn't a big deal. I guess more people will get it so those cards will be cheaper. I assume you just get the reward player and not a WS banner?
So TA is the new innings boss program, basically. I like that. It was way too much doing TA and the innings at the same time.
Growing up, I didn't have much of a relationship with any of my uncles. As an adult, I have 2 nephews, my wife's sister's boys. I live 6 hours away but try to keep up with them as much as I can. Both grew up with a single mom and I was the only guy in their life. They have a great step dad now though. Bought them both PS5 for Xmas so we can play games and talk. Told my wife earlier that I'd be to bed late tonight bc the game was releasing. She was like "Oh yea, the boys wanted that." Just copped for both of them so I'll spend a decent amount on the game losing to a 15 and 17 yr old but it's worth it. Modern technology is great.
I'd be so happy if they would add an "Open all packs feature." Spending 20 minutes to rip 100 packs blows.
The fact that this is a more gradual step between quick sell levels makes me wonder if collections will be cheaper. Hopefully fewer of those golds that are 80 or 81 that get stuck at 1200 stubs and could be closer to 4-500.
It was the most fun I had playing the game last year. BR also has all the options for the cards that have missions assigned as well. I’d imagine that could get toxic, but if shit gets stale it’s worth a spin.
Yeah. Even if Clemente is underwhelming and Thomas is one dimensional, the completionist in me enjoys that pursuit just as much as grinding a program somewhere in the game.
There was a stretch in the summer where I was all about the BR programs. I'd draft until I had some of the special BR gold or silvers to make solid progress and just assumed play that instead of ranked vs the all 99 god squads
With rates skyrocketing, shit just got really slow at work for me so I'll have some time to burn on this game. What's everyone jumping into first? TA or BR?
Have to see what pays. More than likely, building out my team for Events. I am in no hurry to get any of the collection done.
Seems like the new innings program doesn't have a boss but you get 30 TA cards along the way. That's probably the way to go to build a team quick. But you have to have a team to play it so idk lol
Probably spend a day or two feeling out the new layout with no inning program to grind. But may give the new mini seasons or conquest some play. USA conquest is always great early in the year for making stubs and if the sim time is cut in half that's a bonus.
Playing March to October and rosters are Not accurate at all. No Suzuki for Cubs, Winker and Suarez on the Reds
Started opening packs and server exception error. Took a few for the shit to show up, pulled a kershaw.
