I say ESPN so whiteboy can join in. As for brass tacks: - Roto or H2H? - What are our categories? - Dynasty? - Roster size? - Playoff timing? - Auction or snake draft?

I'm in agreement with you on the H2H daily. Also, I need everyone's email address to get the league set up. PM me. To make this easier, please let me know the site preference. Baron Butthead Norm Alshon Upton^2 ashy larry Baseballman86 Dr. Richard Cranium
I'm afraid of how early I'm going to need to draft Torkelson and/or Greene in my league with a bunch of Tigers' fans. Seems like both are likely to make the opening day roster.

I don’t think he’s a keeper I think he owns them and he’s going to drop him. I could be wrong though.
Need some help with keepers, can keep 10, team is in spoilers. It's a 7x7 weekly matchup with OPS and Holds. Obvious keepers are Acuña, Ramirez, Soto, Franco, Cole, and Greene (1 NA spot). Leaning towards Mondesi, Alcantara, Hader and Vaughn for my other 4. Spoiler
I would probably go Suarez instead of Mondesi or Vaughn. I think 3B is decently deep and Suarez is gonna get a ton of work with a low ERA. He’s a starter too with RP qualification if you want to stack something. I like Mondesi but in a 7x7 you almost have to punt something. He’s primary SB but you’re gonna get some from Franco and Ronald when he gets healthy. I honestly probably like Mondesi more than Vaughn but 1B isn’t as deep. Unless you can get like a Cron or Walsh in the draft, you might keep Mondesi and drop Vaughn. To add to that I like Sandy a lot. I think Diaz and Hader are two of your better closers so if you’re punting Holds, I’d seriously consider them. They’re gonna get a lot of work.
my main league added k/9 and k/bb. total k is also a category. feels fucky to me but w/e. how does this change strategy?
i advocated for k/9 and saves + holds but they went with k/9 and k/bb. kept saves, didn’t add holds. just feels like a weird combo also switched whip to obpa (on base % allowed) ???
I’m dumb and forgot to include Wheeler in the obvious category. Going to go with Diaz, Hader, and Alcantara to round it out I think. I’ve got #4 pick I think so hoping to grab a 1B in that 1st round.
This also sounds like the commissioner listened to some fantasy podcast who said this was an awesome category for whatever reason and then listed off some guys who peg that hole and it alone.
1. Do you guys have 12? If needed I’d probably be up to join 2. Best resources for draft prep? Found out I have my regular one tomorrow so should probably draft up a strategy lol
Is ESPN's draft software down? I've got a draft in 40 mins and no one in my league can get it to open. Seems like others are having similar issues.
Are you really liking Cron this season? Currently in the draft and need to get a 1B soon. Went with 2 pitchers (Castillo and Pressly) and Ketel Marte with first few picks.
I like Cron. He’s a fringe top 12 1B guy. It really depends on him staying healthy but his bat plays well at Coors. He’s usually in that Hoskins, Walsh, Cron, Mountcastle range and like him more than any of them except maybe Hoskins. But Cron is way more consistent. I like Marte bc I think he gets traded before the break to a contender. I like Pressly a lot. I don’t love Castillo but you never know if he gets moved. His first half splits are always bad (like 4.5+ ERA the last 2 years) but he usually makes a tweak at the break to get better and salvage a season. I don’t think he’s 100% at the moment so maybe he comes back good. That team is so bad though I worry about his engagement.
Yes. The keeper rules are super relaxed because otherwise people don't want to play, so you basically get to keep guys forever without penalty. Only rules are you have to keep at least 2 pitchers and 2 hitters. Works out for me, I guess. My pitching went to complete shit last year so I took a bunch of guys really early. ESPN's rankings are really weird this year. I couldn't make any sense of them. Marte was ranked outside the top 100. They project pitchers like Berrios to have an ERA over 4 but rank him 30th overall or something like that. Just a lot of head scratching stuff that I think is going to throw off a lot of drafts. I generally ignore the rankings every year when I'm picking, but this year seemed especially bizarre on their end. I just hate how they do it where their cheat sheets every year are vastly different from their rankings in the draft machine.
Lol. Keepers with no penalty. Is it a money league? Yeah the freaking major sites are clueless. CBS has Hoskins leading the NL in HRs this year. Just some weird weird stuff.
