Really hate to see it. I feel like the only way to really protect yourself is to find an advertised WFH position that's on the opposite side of the country and get settled in before the corps stop bothering to even list them anymore. It's gross. Everyone proved it worked and made everyone's lives significantly less shitty. I've been home since Covid started and am part owner. However, it's not hard to imagine the majority owner partners getting to a point where they want to start hiring local and expect us all to start going back in to manage in person. I'm tempted to start the battle ahead of time by pushing to assemble an out of state team or cash in my chips and look elsewhere
Unless being 7'3" comes with NBA skill why the fuck you would want to be that tall? Sounds horribly inconvenient.
Update: I ran a March madness bracket this year. I’ve been asking for over a week who a certain person was in our bracket so I can collect their money. He has been active in said group chat and hasn’t owned up to his account yet. I just figured out it was him after clicking around a little bit. It’s a $20 entry amongst friends lol
No one wants to be 7 foot or over. Hell anything above 6"5ish will start to have more than minor inconveniences. 5'3" is fun and cheeky and I can put you in my pocket and go places.
Just the logistics of finding clothes is a hard pass on 7’3”. Then factor in cars and furniture, fuck that noise.
Short kings are hot in the streets these days. I have a friend that's 5'6 and my gf's friend asked me "how's that short stack doin?"
7'3" I would have had a decent chance of being in the NBA in my 20s since in the aughts they would sign 7 footers seemingly jsut for the fact they were 7 footers.
Run a key under that thumbnail while ya wait. DMV is the worst tho. Had to update my license recently, and it took almost an hour for about seven minutes of actual interaction.
At 7’3” you’d almost certainly have women with fetishes regularly propositioning you. FTR I do not want to be either of these heights.
I like the folks who change into clean scrubs to leave the hospital. But scrubs are extremely comfortable, so I get it.
Am I just extra large and normally proportioned at 7’3” or am I looking like a European basketball center born in Chernobyl?
it may be a bummer to be 5'3 but you would have no issues buying clothes, going out in public, etc. at 7'3, you are almost assuredly dealing with joint issues early in life and having difficulty fitting in cars, planes, clothes, restaurant seats, etc. i think the ease of life at 5'3 compared to 7'3 trumps the allure of being tall. am 6'1 now for reference.
you'd probably end up wearing a bunch of dope japanese/asian brands. My favorite store stocks Fujito, Camoshita, Ikiji, Sage de Cret, Kaptain Sunshine, Kuon, and a few others and I think I'd have an easier time fitting that stuff at 5'3 than I do at my current height + weight (mostly weight). https://nomanwalksalone.com/pages/s...apanese&page=1&rb_collections=Japanese+Makers
Being over 7' is a really good way to have awful back issues later on. Fuck that unless I'm assured a pro basketball contract that allows me to live large for a while before the back goes out
are 5’3” guys that rare? I feel like this wouldn’t be an issue I assume there are plenty. I voted 7’3” because of the mental issues that some on this board expressed that accompany being short.
Lol at those prices off the shelf. I have a designer fly in from Hong Kong twice a year to custom fit my clothes.
There are 2800 seven footers on earth. The number of 7'3" has to be substantially fewer than that. You would spend your entire life in discomfort. Fuck all that.
