Had a dream the padres lost to the diamondbacks 18-11, after giving up 11 in the first and 7 in the 3rd. So I’m in a good place heading into opening day
Go Reds..... BTW anyone use a VPN to hide their location from MLB TV? I need a good one so I can watch Rays games in Jacksonville.
money simply isnt an object to uncle stevie. the whole league cowers in fear at the team he is building. that's why tyler megill is their opening day starter
Rogers is the best player in that deal. High leverage reliever who can go multiple innings. Rooker has some power but I don’t see him reaching base often enough to make up for his defense, which can be comical at times. I’d rather have Rogers but he’s in the final year of his deal, so I suppose it makes sense to take a flyer on a starting pitcher like Paddock with 3 years of control.
BFIB blah blah but Opening Day Ceremonies at Busch are going to be so amazing today. Yadi, Pujols, Wainwright. The Red Jacket HOFers. Clydesdales. Nothing like it. can’t wait.

I'm kind of hoping it doesn't happen, honestly. I don't need him having more moments in Houston. But if I'm not picking Cole (too obvious) or Bieber (last year's injuries), the drop off is pretty massive.
I'm perfectly fine being the high man on Justin Verlander projections and the low man on Robbie Ray projections going into 2022.
