I had dinner at a poke place with a friend of mine and his two sons tonight. We sat on an uncovered patio from 7:30-8:30 and it was quite comfortable if I’m honest.
Was starting to hope that we’d get by without a hard freeze so all my flowers would make it through the winter like a few years ago. Flowerbed was glorious that next summer
In all honesty, there should only be minimal work from this front unless someone already had something broken, leaky that they had been neglecting to fix. Or if we lose power. Still, this is just regular winter stuff and 99% of pool shit should be fine.
I've really appreciate dfw's penchant for losing its shit exclusively when my kids are supposed to be asleep
Had the fam in our room under the stairs for half an hour last night while the sirens were popping off in Prosper
a.tramp BayouMafia were you aware of this gentleman’s location? So close that it may require you both to visit Rollertown for beer & introductions IYAM IMO
It is beautiful and Sunny outside with a slight but not too bad of a breeze who wouldn’t want this weather
Can confirm, 67 with 25 mph winds sucked. You're a psychopath or a liar (aka fucktx) if you actually prefer that.
Worked outside all day in it yesterday and shorts and short-sleeved shirt. Not a drop of sweat one, never even remotely cold. I hate to break it to you but you are a female.
It was like this Tuesday in Nashville and I walked 10 miles in shorts and a tshirt and am from Texas AMA I probably perspired a little bit in my pants at some point though but my doctor said that's normal.
Yes, I am going to lie about what clothes I wear to work. That is my thing. Most men are just built different than you. Your probably have some peers somewhere if you look hard enough.
Is this where it’s finally revealed this argument is the fat people hating the heat and the skinny people hating the cold?
Counterpoint: a.tramp *did* warn everyone about prepared bbq rubs and if the bbq topic posters had listened, they wouldn’t have inadvertently supported Ted Cruz and Greg Abbott, so maybe we should listen to him? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm trying to imagine a scenario where 90s weather is preferable to 65 and windy and I'm coming up empty. Maybe if I was wearing a poofy hat or a sundress?
I must be the only person ITT who can still function when the temp gets above 90. As I said above, y'all are psychopaths or liars.
Fuzzy Zoeller i can kick your ass in 99 degree heat and I can kick your ass in a 61 degree windstorm but I prefer the 61 degree windstorm every day of the week
I work outside whether it is 10* or 110*. I can function in any of that range. I wear shorts at 55* and above. It takes zero effort to work in 55-75 degrees. Drink a little water and you are good. Above 75, and especially 90+ takes effort to stay hydrated. To say that 65 is infinitely better than 99 does not mean than one can not function at 99. It means that one has a brain and knows that there are different efforts to stay hydrated and healthy at the 2 different temperature ranges. 1 is almost effortless and the other is your side of the fence. And that side of the fence has people fall extremely ill and even die of the heat on a pretty regular basis.
I won't even go to my mailbox in the high 90s. Either my wife gets it or our shit gets sent to collections.
Once again y'all are twisting yourselves into knots just to disagree with me. Obviously, 72 with a light breeze is the optimal weather. No one disagrees with this. The hill that y'all have oddly chosen to die on is that 65 with 30mph wind gusts is somehow ~pleasant~ weather, which it's not and you'll never convince me otherwise. Proof: all the "Man, this weather sucks" conversations I've had over the past days, weeks and months.
lol no one IRL disagrees with me I couldn't care less if the losers ITT disagree with me. You're all wrong anyway.
