Life has gotten better ever since i stopped wasting so much time looking for a good music playlist they’re basically all the same to me at this point
something that helped me was getting the stack done the day before. That way I just hop on and don’t go searching. I used to waste 10-15 minutes just going through playlists.
Getting to the point where I’m addicted to trying to beat my previous output and the other 14 people that are currently in the same class
I’m the same way with the other people in the class. There always seems to be two or three that must be going 50mph at a 100 resistance and I can’t get up there.
Depends on the day. Most rides are 30. If I need to replace a long run, I’ll do a 45 or 60. But I save those for sundays.
40 minutes. As little as 30 as much as 70 but generally stay around the 40 minute mark. Usually do a warm up and cool down ride. My workouts usually are around 90 minutes with strength, cardio and stretching add my daily meditation and walks and I hit close to 200 minutes a day lol.
Anyone ever have to replace their pedals? All of the sudden my left pedal doesn’t secure to me or my wife’s cleat. Played around with the tension screw and it just seems to spin without making a difference. I’ve had it for nine months and I see on peloton website that they recommend replacing pedals annually. I’m going to assume this wouldn’t be covered by any warranty? Annoyed that I’m gonna have to drop $60 on new pedals less than a year into it
Had my bike for 4 1/2 years with no pedal issues. Def try to message them and see if theyll just send you a pair.
I had to replace mine around the same time as you. I wrote an email and they sent the new pedals at no cost. They’ve held up for over three years.
I have just enough to ask the question - I can use this with my current subscription, right? Or is it an addition sub?
I called and they are gonna replace my busted pedal at no cost. At least a week of no rides though :(
I’m not very interested either but They dropped the price already but seems like it might be similar to the Xbox fitness thing.
if you use the peloton chat functionality and just be really nice to the customer service rep, i have found they will send you anything pretty quickly no questions asked
Got my bike delivered today! Was stoked to get home and try it out. I can't get past the Wi-Fi screen without the screen wigging out and not progressing. Called support they had me factory reset with no luck. I sent them a video and now waiting for a response. Great start!
great ride my dude. You pushed the fuck out of me. Congrats on beating the old man lol. Oh and I tweaked my back in the strength class right before
Got my replacement pedal today and I’m back in business. Surprised at how much I missed it honestly. It felt great to finally ride again even though Emma damn near killed me.
Sneaky e-mail from Peloton around 20 minutes ago called "An Update on your Peloton All-Access Membership." They present a large table about how much Peloton has changed from 2014 to 2022, discuss how they haven't raised prices for 8 years, then at the bottom mention they are going to increase the price on a membership from $39 per month to $44 per month starting in June.
I can’t believe they’ve been dumb enough to wait this long. Should have started at the beginning of COVID.
Then you haven't been paying attention They're the worst-run company that just happened to catch lightning in a bottle
I don't know why Apple or Google or someone who has their shit together hasn't bought them out at like a 60% premium to share price and actually ran this like a real company
True that. It’s an easy button in a industry like this. You’d think they’d push it when the heat was turned up on them. But like you said, worst run company.
Surprised the price hike is only $5. I assume it’s just the beginning and they’ll become more frequent though
Make sure you call Peloton and get a refund to the new bike price. They lowered the price of all the new bikes and treads today
Haven’t been able to ride since Monday because I hurt my lower back and hip. While I’m not saying it, many people are saying that’s why rv12 “beat” me hopefully it will feel better soon hurts like a bitch when I sit. All I can do right now is walk.
Honestly seems like they are betting people locked in are little retention risk. How they kept the digital access the same seems perplexing
My self discipline is 0/10. since I’ve started working from home and becoming a dad, my riding has gone to shit.
Oh I have no idea what’s on the schedule but usually when I get on live leaderboards are a few mins from starting
