Apparently they are not going to the same school and it’s well known. Rumors too that carr is going tovreclasify
I just imagine an older guy looking down at his phone confused how it works and then posting something while thinking he’s searching google
Specifically using the search bar to type in google so they can search from the google specific page, too
Dabo is getting too self righteous and their recruiting is meh, they’re done being a power for a while.
If (when) Moore doesn't commit, do we push Sayin or Carr to re-classify? They can sit behind junior year Buchner and either take over their SO or RS SO year pretty much unchallenged depending on when Buchner leaves
At that point you either go back at the Oklahoma dude or hit the portal for the best free agent next year.
Try to convince Pyne to come back and hope you land an elite 2024. If Pyne doesn't come back get a backup QB in portal. Ultimately it's not end of world but considering where your at with Dante in process it would be a shot to the balls.
FFS did something happen last night? I’m trying not to doom scroll in the mornings, guess I should wipe this thread off my list.
Guys I weirdly trust the process here, ND is fine they aren’t even contacting other QBs- follow the visits I suspect Michigan knows Carr is reclassifying which is why they also are being so damn calm
Reclassifying is going to be one of those things that becomes a fad for a short amount of time, but eventually the schools are going to do everything they can to put the kibosh on it. The schools are basically giving up a year of the athlete’s prime by allowing it. Doesn’t make much sense.
I remember growing up the fad was all about staying back a year early so you were older in high school. Now we’ve got kids reclassifying up a year to get to college sooner.
Tired: Holding a kid back so he can dominate sports a year older. Wired: Making your son transgender so they can dominate female sports. It’s a new day my dawg.
all the whining and crying about Dante Moore not committing to ND yet on the different boards is hilarious...people really need to get a grip or a life Of course I want him committed now, but it's his life and he has the right to make the best decision for himself when the time is right for him. Unless we see ND start offering new QBs, then just chill out and let the process play out
It’s particularly funny when this all started like 6 weeks ago before that no one thought he was coming
yea, that's actually a really good point...before March, no one really believed ND would land Dante, but then Loy started posting cryptic messages, Singer put in a prediction, and then Vizzina canceled his visit. It's been crazy hype train ever since
and to be fair, a lot of this is Loy's fault...he put it out there that he though Dante would commit in early Apr and that's definitely not going to happen now
I have zero doubt in my mind that he is a silent commit, and anyone who follows recruiting should pretty easily be able to come to that same conclusion. But with ND's track record in these spots and NIL being the biggest wild card imaginable, I'm not going to blame people for being nervous.
completely agree that he's a silent commit, but having to post incessantly about why he hasn't committed publicly yet is completely unnecessary. Kid will do it when he's ready
It would not be surprising, our qb coach is a horrific recruiter. Missed on like 15 qbs last year and then panicked and took a kid who mwc schools didnt even want.
weird and disorganized, talking more about our qb coach matt weiss who is an nfl guy whose a advanced stat nerd that’s really bad at recruiting
Maybe an entrenched freshman-eligible starter and a 5* freshman backup on the roster is a factor in Weiss "missing on 15 guys" and taking an athletic wild card?
