I don't think it will flop but you're right the first one was the hit it was for every reason other than the movie itself. It was the apex of new-age 3D theatrical experiences, a wave that propelled even crappier movies (like Tim Burton's first Alice in Wonderland film) to billion-dollar status. Avatar was and remains the best use of that technology. Seeing the movie was about the experience, not about the movie. Thankfully, the 3D fad has mostly died out. Unless Cameron has something groundbreaking to go along with Avatar 2 (and he doesn't or he'd already be working with theaters to implement it ahead of the release) the movie will be just another franchise sequel. It'll do good money, but not earth shattering money. I expect around between 750 million to 1 billion, depending on if the story is better this time around.
Dont' see how this is WB's fault. Ezra's a headcase though. This isn't his first time in trouble with the law.
It shoulda been Grant Gustin and Miller is the biggest miscasting of that entire justice league group by far
Nope. Not sure how exactly but that’s what folks are saying. I’m assuming they reference something about Darkseid.
What the hell did people like about that movie? I don't get it then again people like JJ Abrams movies too so who knows
I watched the other one and it sucked too. Not being the shitty Whedon one isn't some kind of huge upgrade
Spoiler Apparently Batfleck will be back after the Flash or it sets it up for it/leaves it open for him to return.
I think this would be the best way to do it. Let him have time with it and do it right. Have someone help him if he can't direct and act etc.
hey nerds. i am not going to read the thread but i want to say i started watching doom patrol and its awesome. anyway keep on keepin on.
WB tried that with Geoff Johns, then again with Jim Lee. The trouble was they kept meddling and didn't give the one big voice enough autonomy to build the universe.
Anyone catchup on the 2nd half of season 4 of Young Justice? https://www.the-mainboard.com/index.php?threads/young-justice-returns-for-season-3.166054/
- Garfield is really depressed - Some shit is happening in Atlantis, probably thanks to Vandal Savage. - I’m interested
I watched 14-18 yesterday. Found them to be better than the previous 6 or so eps, but I still don't understand what they're doing. Doesn't help that I pretty much forgot most of the characters.
He needs help. The Flash movie is done so no chance it doesn’t come out. Crazy he’s cameo’d so many times as Flash and JL but probably going to get fired before his stand alone movie comes out.
Shit we got a headless Superman in Shazam. The ending could do something similar and just have a character say something along the lines of “Barry your face changed?!” Cut to credits. Then recast.
