There’s a quote they keep repeating in interviews it’s something like “if we’re gonna ask people to sit in the theater for 2 hours we’re gonna give them everything” so in that sense I get it. But I definitely don’t disagree. Part of me feels it should’ve been shorter bc some of the bits/other universes went on too long/kept going back to them.
Thanks man. And don't get me wrong - I don't mind long movies. I can normally do 3 hours on my ear if the film's good enough and the pacing's right. You just need to give the audience a breather now and again or you burn them out before the end. But again, this is a really good film and probably the best I've seen so far this year.
I watched X earlier this week. I enjoyed it, not that scary but definitely will make you cringe a few times. The premise and the driver behind the violence was interesting. 7/10
It’s a tasteful Scary Movie; with a Texas Chainsaw instead of Scream theme. Pays homage to the genre. Laughs at itself, throws its hat into the ring, and goes about its day It’s not some sort of best horror of the last few years sort of thing afb I’ll also readily admit that horror is not my genre of expertise.
It’s a tough fucking genre with the explosion of technology. Not only from the logistical suspension of reality side, but also the logistical oh fuck 4k shows everything side.
Excited for that. I watched Shiva Baby on a plane earlier this year, and thought Rachel Sennott was really good in it. Seems like good utilization of Pete Davidson as well.

Men was definitely something Spoiler I understood its message/concept pretty early on so it kind of dragged in the middle and that ending birth/rebirth became a bit repetitive but I get why it did that
i can't believe how great Everything Everywhere All At Once was. Wow. I'm legitimately blown away while trying to cool off from shedding tears and laughing hard.
Finally watched. Wild movie and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can see how it’s maybe not some people’s cup of tea though (my fiancée being one of those people).
When I first saw this I thought it was a remake of Funny Games and I got triggered. That movie still fucks me up
I believe it was planned and they were already shooting it pretty soon after X since she played both characters in it.
