I can’t imagine a relegation fight stopping Mallorca from selling a player that hasn’t played in a league game since March 2
Jedi started on the bench for the 3rd time in 4 matches and Bryan created a goal in this one. Doesn't bode well that while Silva knows that Bryan isn't good enough for the PL next year, he also thinks that he's a better LB than Robinson at the moment. Don't need another bench rider heading into November
that one was understandable since it was a Saturday game a couple days after he had played in Costa Rica, and at the time everyone assumed that was why he was held out, but now it looks like it was part of something bigger
Saw some Fulham fans speculating that they're just starting the other guy to put him in the shop window since they're already pretty much promoted
Yea boss, I *really* think Hoppe could be the guy for us. But I’d need to go to Mallorca to get a true scout. Maybe for a couple weeks. And I’ll need to see some of his away games around Spain, too. Just for thoroughness.
Mallorca is in Spain. Not usually a fan of guys going back to MLS but it seems like some sort of move is needed and that language barrier is a real issue for him so Championship or MLS are the options.
I know this is a bit of a premature question, but where would Atlanta fans expect him to play for them? I think Hoppe's biggest issue is he's not a lone striker and he's not really a winger so it's hard to see where he fits in GGG's system. would love to see him develop more as a striker. he's still only 21.
If our squad is fully healthy, i think he would play on Wing for Atlanta. Or could play just off our primary Striker (which is how Miguel Almiron was used). But our Striker is injured, has been injured frequently, so perhaps the thought is he could also develop at that spot.
and even before Josef had to get his knee cleaned up I was hoping we'd use that last u-22 slot for a guy capable of playing lw and st, so he'll get minutes
Tight. I'll probably go to that. Last year the US won two games at TQL (1 women's game and 1 men's) while FCC only won 1. FCC has already won 1 home game so far this year, we'll see if they can outpace the national teams in 2022.
Because it's the best soccer stadium in the country. And us fans in Cincy deserve to watch the home team win sometimes.
Wtf, is Lalas writing their tweets now? Did they not learn from the “we should all root for El Tri in 2018” crap?
would be brutal. born in illinois and raised in MLS academies. i would also think poland will struggle to replace lewandoski once he retires. idk idk
They have some solid talent coming up but don’t see a future Lewa anywhere…not to mention how tough it is to qualify out of UEFA
A country might struggle to replace one of the best STs playing when he retires, really going out on a limb here
think i read yesterday he was expected to be out 6 weeks with the injury, so definitely done for the season hopefully he’ll be healthy and recovered by june and their definition of long term isn’t fall 2022
Does Tata think he gets a 40 man roster for the WC? I’m sure he’s “promising” spots just like with Araujo/Ochoa.
