I had a Weller single barrel at the restaurant and ECBP at home until I was sure I’m going to regret it.
How is this? Used to work there for a few months and always try and support them when I can but don't want to take a flyer on a $100 bottle.
Decent morning for the PA crew 2 ETL 2 blanton’s sp 2 375 ml blanton’s sp missed the 1 posted THH by seconds though
Had a pour of old fitz 18 and Thomas Handy last night. Maybe it’s just me but I just don’t get the Old Fitz Hype. Handy on the other hand….
Certain years/ages are hit or miss for me. The 8 and 9 I have are solid meh, 11 is decent, I loved 13.
Honestly think a lot of people fall in love with the bottle. That said i used to love 11 when it wasn't crazy to get. Not worth the hype now probably.
Sitting down to finally label these bottles. Running behind, but should be reaching out with next steps tomorrow. Picked up three more cases today and the boxes so almost ate to take actual orders.
all this talk about rye made me decide to open my first high proof rye, and its really something else.
I sent out an email to everyone who has signed up so far. If you signed up and you did not get the email, please PM me and I will give you instructions there. The email provides instructions on how to pay and get me a label.
FedEx is superior to UPS. To anyone that's already made a label, feel free to reply to me with your box dimensions and weight so I don't have to use my brain on a Sunday.
To that end, it may be helpful for some of the people here to get a primer on how to create a label. We should probably add it to the OP too. In general... 1. Open an account at Fedex/UPS. 2. Click on create shipment. 3. Enter addresses and phone numbers 4. Choose "use my own packaging" (doesn't require dimensions) 5. Add weight. Typically 3.5 lbs. per bottle. 6. Select shipping method (usually lowest rate - generally $15-22 - Ground) 7. Choose Print label. 8 Click on printer icon or actual print button and print as PDF. 9. Save PDF file to computer and email or attach as file. (If you are too technologically impaired, take a high quality picture of it and you should be able to use that to attach as a file.)
Always just put 2lbs, they're going to adjust it to whatever it actually comes out to, they never credit you if you overpaid.
I also prefer FedEx, but something has been fucked up with my account there for years where I can't create labels, so I always go with UPS. Info submitted. Thanks again for setting this all up NYGator. This seems like a ton of work on your end.
Thanks NYGator . Redoing my bathroom today so hopefully there’s one left for me when I send it tomorrow.
Oddly enough mine was doing that too lately. Log out of your account and create the label - should work. As long as one of the to/from email addresses is the same one registered with your account it will populate in your account too. Very weird.
