Mr. Le’s Sushi on Parvin Road, very underrated sushi spot. It’s in a strip mall lol, but the family that runs it knows what they’re doing.
Doing a little North KC Sunday afternoon today. Seeing the Northman at Screenland Armour then trying out Pizza Tascio afterwards.
if you had to choose between living in one of the three areas, which would you pick? -north KC -martin city/red bridge area -lenexa
North KC Was super close to moving to the north side last summer. Taking on a 280,000 purchase price and at least another 100k worth of reno work would have been a bit too much at the time though.
I think I’d go Lenexa in that scenario, just because of how much it’s grown in the past 10 years, proximity to Shawnee Mission Park, and Lawrence is just 25 mins away. I know the last point won’t mean as much to some.
Beyond going to games, your point is 100% correct. Should have elaborated, but having lived in Lenexa before, KU games are equally as far away as Chiefs/Royals games. Makes going up for a weeknight game an easier proposition.
to add on: I would be more inclined to spend time in crossroads/south plaza/etc than I would in Lawrence
North KC then, most definitely. I could see myself moving back to Lenexa eventually if I stick in KC long term, but when I sell my crossroads condo later this year and am looking to buy, I won't initially be looking there. Flash forward to 2023: I've lost out on 12-15 houses and am looking to buy a house in Lenexa lol.
I dont know. You could probably afford to live in a three car garage in Brookside. Will only set you back $300k
Northland is boring af but cheaper and has generally less traffic and quicker access to downtown/plaza/crossroads. If you don’t care about school quality that’s what I’d do
You will have to come over to the superior side for that, soon. Word is it will be on the ballot on November. It will pass but yet some how a bunch of shithead R goblins will win, too.
Weed legal on one side of state line and sports betting legal on the other will mean both are legal on both sides of state line sooner than later. You love to see it.
I'm looking at buying a condo in either the plaza or crossroads area. Anyone know a good realtor that could help me out?
Kinda liking this one on Zillow https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/712-Broadway-Blvd-505-Kansas-City-MO-64105/83920224_zpid/
