Also, Bolsa is playing both sides really hard and I’m honestly having trouble following his thread at times.
he wants to believe Gus isn’t pulling shit but he knows he’ll have to do shit if it comes to it Sad and exciting this amazing series is coming to this point
What confuses you about Mike placing the letter? He still ultimately has to do what Gus tells him to do
I don't. Mike is perfectly willing to disagree with and confront Gus directly when he feels it's necessary. But that also involves putting his own neck on the line. He wasn't willing to go that far out on the limb for Nacho, a guy he likes but who is in the game. He was for Nacho's dad. Seems in line with his character to me to make his displeasure about the Nacho course of action known, but then to still follow orders. Like it's quintissential Mike to me
As he said in the episode “it wasnt my call” if Mike pulls some kind of trick he’ll most likely lose his “job” He saved the guy who isnt in the game (Nachos dad) He is quite clear in his “you’re either in the game or not” Mike is doing all he can to save Nacho too, even to the point of saying he’ll go get him. I dont get why people think Mike could do much more than he is.
sorry if already discussed, but cool bit of insight was Gus knowing Lalo was alive because Hector looked him in the eye. Something he never does. Another time where Hector looks at Gus and it let Gus know something was up? Right before he kills him.
I like the AMC insiders and RHAP’s Post-Show Recaps. Used to do afterbuzz, but have not seen any S6 content.
Am I the only one who didn't get this first time watching? Also, I saw another thread about how he spoke in Spanish initially when calling Hector, then when the nurse was like "let me get someone who speaks Spanish" he was like "no it's ok I just need to speak to Hector" to confirm that she didn't understand the language and thus he could just say whatever over the phone without worrying about her telling anyone. Lalo is on bad motherfucker
The dead body at the house had me confused until I read a review afterwards and it mentioned this. There was so much going on in that first episode and I didnt catch either of these. Damn 2.5 hour premiers lol
Yeah I thought Mattie was a child that got dental work and didn’t catch Mateo being the lookalike while he was in the house. I just thought it was setting up how much he did for the family in order to expect what he did out of them. The dental records confirmed line took a second to land and I was like oooooooh
Damn Nacho, pour 1 for an awesome character See where rest of season goes, how does Gus get to Lalo before talking to the cousins and what proof is Lalo trying to get in Mexico
Wow. Did not* see that coming *I’m not even doing the “did nacho see that coming” bc I’m in such shock
Missed a bit of the start and didn’t go back and rewind yet. What was the significance of the cold open with the blue flower? edit: nvm I just went back and realized it was the shard of glass. At first I was thinking was a Lilly of the valley call back, but I know those are white petals.
I think it is mostly someone known to the cartel that’s a Peruvian rival of sorts, but they don’t factor into this world outside of being Gus’s scapegoat.
I had a similar question. Couldn’t remember if it was someone mentioned or shown in BB or BCS previously
