I got a 4568 because I was surprised that quordle used Spoiler FATTY and guessed BATTY first Then I impressed myself with my wordle guess. I might even check that extension that tells me if it was luck or skills if anyone had it. Spoiler
Played a very sloppy Wordle today and escaped with a 6/6. Just very lucky I had ASKED on guess 5 and not 6 - I think I would still be quietly crying into my hands.
Very pleased with a 3/6 today. Didn’t get impatient on 3rd guess and thought it through. Gambled with 2nd guess

Of the ~2k answers, there are 37 words ending in 's' (no plurals) and 141 ending in 'er.' There are 23 ending in 'ed' and a few of them are past tense, as opposed to something like 'greed.' Correct. The only words that end in S are words like truss or press so I normally try to put the S anywhere but spot 5.
I knew 4 but wanted to rule out S at the end. Like I said, 5 was incredibly stupid on a number of levels. I was going for 'ASSESS'. This is what happens when I play while still in bed first thing in the morning.

Went drool before droll (because I thought droll had been an answer recently, but maybe it was drool or maybe it was on a practice round). That 4568 is always such a disappointing effort
