Anyone been to Moon Tower Inn? A friend is having her birthday get together there this afternoon. I’m seeing beers and hotdogs on the menu. Can’t go wrong with that.
Been a bunch. The wait time for them to make your food can be ridiculous sometimes, but the food is pretty good.
Moon Tower was cool. Stayed for a couple beers. Went to my cousins work party out a bit. Owns his own conduction company. Been here since. Open bar. 1500 pounds of crawfish going. Brisket. Couple hundred folks here through the day.
Not sure if this is been talked about… went to this a few days ago and it was legitimately one of the cooler things I’ve ever done. virtual reality on the space station this is the last week it’s here before moving on to Seattle. If you can go you 100% should https://theinfiniteexperience.world/
Walking through the walls into space was sick, just floating there in front of the earth. I had trouble looking up above me, like it felt too real and if I looked up, I might start backflipping away I to outer space
Kirby Icehouse is having a corgi day on 5/14. I know they don’t allow kids in there but me and Sooie might have to swing by and let her strut her stuff.
My group at work had a team outing at that about 10 days ago and it was pretty cool. And not really sure if it made the overall experience better or worse, but i was there on about 4.5 hours of sleep after a bumble date that went well the Thursday night before ;) Afterwards we all went to Loro in the Heights for lunch and a couple beers on the patio outside (and the weather was great). It was a pretty solid Friday with no work getting done, but was tired as shit when i got my kids back that night :)
There’s no way her old ass would do the race. She’d just try and play with all the other dogs but it’d be hilarious to watch her even attempt it. She’s so stubborn and lazy now she’d prolly just lay down at the starting line.
Yes, but it was around 11:30 or so and we had to wait a little while; our group also had to be split among two picnic tables.
Not sure what vibe you're going for Xochi Nancy's Hustle Tiny Champions Bravery Chef Hall (Blind Goat in particular)
Anyone headed to the Karbach festival thing today? https://www.karbachbrewing.com/community/event/love-street-music-fest-22/
