This last update has fucked my internetting. I’ll post on threads and it’ll reload the main page but the thread page shows as read. Forward and backward buttons no longer work. It’s a crapshoot when it works vs when it doesn’t. And extremely annoying.

My buddy covered Apple and Google for WSJ the past couple years. He’s now at the NYT though, back to covering Apple. He’s worked on this for years and is about as plugged in there as an outsider could be, I’m guessing. Any thoughts on the best place or method to sell an iPhone 11? Some of the first sites to pop up like Gazelle or BuyBackTronics gave offers but I’ve never used them before and don’t know how trustworthy they are.
FYI if you have AirPod Pros and they make a static noise when you active noise canceling or transparency mode, you likely can get them replaced for free by Apple. Only airpod pros made before Oct ‘20 qualify.
Mine fail every few months. Probably on (free) replacement pair 5 or 6 since I first purchased them in September 2020.

Nice. It’s been driving me fucking nuts and I thought it was just my airpods only. I was pretty happy when I found out there’s a replacement service.
My experience has been go to the Apple Store, explain problem, they run diagnostics, they fail, they give you a new pair.
During Covid they would send you a new pair in advance with a return label for your old ones, and if you don’t send it back they charge you.
so a few weeks ago i found a replacement phone while walking the dog posted it on the neighborhood app but no one claimed it it’s verizon compatible, we’re xfinity wife wants to use it. any way to do that?
Looking at getting a new iPhone 13 Pro Max, which is like a $1,500 phone. Was just going to buy it at the Apple Store, and with the monthly payment + Apple Care + Theft Protection it came out to like a $75-80 payment over 24 months. Verizon is currently running a $700 off promotion for new iPhones and paid over 36 months. It would end up being like a $20-25 payment over 36 months. If I leave Verizon, I'd have to owe the balance on my phone, which sounds just like if I bought it for full price from Day One from Apple. Is there a reason to not just order from Verizon? Is there a reason its better to get it from the Apple store?
I bought my 13 Pro at Verizon because they had a great trade in program at the time. I would go with whoever will give you the best value for your current phone. It shouldn’t matter much in the long run.
Was having this issue. Had no clue this was a wide spread problem. Chatted with apple support, they sent me a box to ship them in for service, got an email today that they’re on their way back. Big props for posting. Gracias.

got a new 13 pro and transferring from my old phone has been a bitch. It won't just auto download all the apps that I have and is forcing me to go through and download each one.
lol. Battery life on this thing is stupid. Took it off charger at 8 this morning, done my normal fucking around on it and my X would be down in the 65% range now and I’m sitting at 96%.
12 pro max - haven’t searched thread or googled yet. My screen is losing touch intermittently around the T Y U keys. More frequent lately. Anyone else?
Mine have been failing for about 2-3 weeks now. Super annoying. Don’t really want to get another one as it must be due for an upgrade. Any viable or better options? Use is 99% for work / client calls
Turns out it was a hardware issue with the display. FYI in case anyone else notices their touch screen acting up. They did the repair on warranty in-store in about 45 minutes.
thanks. No issues yet but do have apple care I have more network issues. Where it randomly loses internet. Wifi or cellular. Have to reboot.
