Nope, but now going to Avett Brothers on Tuesday. And good friend with decent music connections that goes to a lot of shows went to Nathaniel Rateliff last night and told me today that 713 Music Hall is his favorite venue in town now except for the $15 drinks ;)
Random question, but when you guys go to White Oak, where do you park if you don't uber? I may have to drive to show this Tuesday, but still hoping to uber
They sell spots you can buy ahead of time. I’ve also parked on near by streets. Randomly got a spot at Ravens Tower before. I just went in and bought a beer first. No one said anything about me parking there and then going to a show.
I actually live in the museum district and could pick this up in the med center i assume. Where do you exit?
T&Ps to any Bellaire bros https://www.chron.com/news/houston-...ghway-closure-i-69-west-loop-610-17130657.php Workers will close the ramp from U.S. 59/I-69 southbound to West Loop 610 southbound toward Bellaire starting Friday night. The ramp will be closed for two years, according to Danny Perez with the Texas Department of Transportation, meaning drivers will be forced to build the detour into their commutes for the time being.
Just gonna take westpark when headed to Austin now I guess. The big problem will be the amateur Houston drivers realizing it’s closed in real time clogging up that whole intersection. It’s already awful heading north.
Everyone is just going to drive like it’s normal and get there and say “oh fuck and just jam up the northbound lanes.
I used to be a I-10 to Austin guy but I've converted to being a 290 bro. Seems to flow better on average.
I’ve done it a few times recently but I’m usually headed to the west side of town so 10 to 71 probably makes the most sense. 290 has gotten way better though.
The wife and I are at Eugene’s celebrating. We spoke with the CPA and wife’s business partner today and I’m happy to say we are buying her firm. I’ll be hammered at the cellar later.
Did you mean Eunice (based on your location). That place is solid, never been to Eugenes. Regardless, congrats on the good news and have a drink for me
Need to change the thread icon to Texans, Rockets or Astros. Every time I see the UH logo I think I'm getting new pics of Hilary Duff and then I get sad.
I met some friends there at 11:30 a while ago and there was a line, but it wasn't out the door or anything, although the indoor portion of the line space is about 20 yards long (but at least the AC will be on!)
I think you should be ok then. I remember there being more of a line around noon, but didn't seem crazy regardless. Their line situation was better than some other popular spots in town (as in how much space they have for it and it being out of the way of other things). And be sure to get the brisket fried rice and mac & cheese sir.
Did not know owl bar is where kelvin arms was meeting a friend there for drinks have definitely thrown up in that restroom a handful of times a decade ago
