LOL! That went well. We proceeded to give up 15 runs in the 7th and 8th. They hit 6 HRs in those two innings, and they also had 8 hits with 2 strikes in the 7th inning alone. That was the craziest display of hitting I’ve seen in a while.
Saw the grand slam, watched the draft for a bit, flipped back and it was 17-4. It's a scary fucking offense.
Bruh, they had like three bunts for HRs. If they found a barrel and had any launch to it, it left the yard. They had either two or three hits going into the 7th. They finished with 19!
I switched over from the NFL draft when Auburn took the lead. Tennessee having a great baseball team is wild.
That offense just isn’t fair. There’s no break in that 1-9. Every hitter can really punish a mistake.
No idea why SEC Network doesn't use the overflow channel for baseball, 30+ minutes late to show Auburn-Tennessee because of a blowout softball game
HOLY SHIT Auburn 3 run homer to go up 8-5 after being down 5-4 at the start of innning and their last strike
Apparently only Tennessee can celebrate according to douchebag Vitello and the players who take on his personality, god forbid someone show emotion after a 3 run homer in the 9th to put his team up
Daddy Rabbit y'all can beat us 30-0 tomorrow. We just needed the one win to not rank our host chances.
What a clown. "The bat ended up in our dugout," Vitello said referring to Pierce's bat throw. "If it was a true dugout, it would've gone in the dugout, but it was resting on the net. So, someone has to get it. So, I grabbed it and threw it over there."
I didn't see any of the game last night. Catching up this morning, and yeah, there is no defense for that. Tennessee loves to dish it out. It's fun because they have been backing it the fuck up. But they can't take it when they get clapped back. Just going to have to win it all I guess.
Tennessee team is fun to watch but I will absolutely love seeing them getting beat in their own regional bc of how stupid their coach acts
It was a really good game. And while the talk at the end of the game was about the bat flip and Vitello’s reaction, it wasn’t a massive part of the game. But I’m not gonna lie. Getting that UT dugout all riled up going to the bottom of the 9th made that last half inning extremely intense.
They were #1 going into the opening weekend of the SEC season and won that series. Then they got swept by Tennessee at home, and that seemed to set off the downward spiral.
