Tennessee St wants to go FBS. They're gonna need to seriously invest in their facilities if that's their plan OVC might not exist soon
Wouldn't be surprised if New Haven became the 10th member of the NEC, replacing Bryant. I know they have some ambitions to get up to D1.
Is the TV money really that much more significant? Seems like a silly move considering being in the WCC doesn’t really hinder them these days. Midweek conference games starting at like 4 PM local time sounds awful.
Lamar back to the Southland after a year in the WAC. Seismic change to the intercollegiate athletics landscape
I need UCF to beat Texas for the Big 12 title the year before Texas goes to the SEC. UCF can claim to be SEC champs in perpetuity.
we beat florida who has a national championship within the past 2 decades. therefore we are already sec champs.
They will send Texas to UCF on Sept 1 for spite. At least this time if Texas comes here in Sept we will have water fountains.
sources indicated this will do jackshit to help them make more money and thus doesn't matter. source: me.
So if OU and Texas don’t leave before 2024, what’s the most annoying thing the conference can do to them? I assume they will send Texas out to BYU in November. Maybe have them play at UCF the week prior.
