So you got 3 tes with a combined 50 something catches in their careers going before mayer who had 71 just last year? not going to argue too much, I have no idea who these guys are but that seems completely ridiculous
To become an elite TE in the NFL you must be an elite athlete. The top 3 are better athletes... It's also fucking May 3rd... You will get an updated list. Don't freak out your schools player isn't ranked very high. Don't be Bama or OSU.
i am not freaking out, you are. and exactly, it’s may 3rd how can you possibly have these 3 guys in front of a guy who already have all this production? and what makes Mayer less athletic? Oh I think I know..
ND has produced NFL TEs forever and Mayer is easily the best prospect that they have had so if he is the 4th TE this year that is pretty cool
What has Gilbert done to be considered a draftable prospect to this point? I mean he's obviously a good athlete but I don't know that's enough to be considered draftable.
How dare you not rank the TE of my favorite team who has played 8 games in his career!!! Guys relax... we got 300+ days to evaluate.
Assuming his mental health issues are under control, I like him as a prospect. I liked him as a prospect at LSU too fwiw
You probably wouldn't get as much shit if you substantively defended your takes instead of going into this reactive victim complex all the time.
Bankz is a little too sensitive when people challenge his stuff. That said, if you don't like someone else's rankings, rank them yourself. People who go on the internet to criticize other peoples' lists, but don't make their own lists that are better, confuse me.
He's got a ton of off-field issues to deal with. Very little snaps played in his career to judge how his very athletic makeup translates to the field. His short time at LSU wasn't all that impressive but he was dealing with issues. It seems like he's still in and out of the doghouse with Kirby. He's got more negatives vs positives right now for me to be very high on the kid. Hopefully he can turn it around. And I generally answer all call outs with substance, but sure I can be sensitive on the topic at times (blame the Sicilian in me)
Mayer last officially timed 40 was 4.84, typically if you run above 4.75 the chances of high success is very low in the NFL. If Mayer has improved on that speed he will climb the board. Carr ran 4.67 Washington 4.75 Bell 4.60 It's got nothing to do with race... everything to do with speed.
I can link articles that state he is... They could be misinformed. I'm not going to argue with you as I believe you probably know as much as anyone else. He's still only played 8 games. I would love to see him put it together.
yea I recall Arik's spring game performance matching all the reports we had been getting all spring practice I love Darnell, just not sure how he fits in current NFL. Freak that will for sure find a spot, just not sure his market. Also needs to get healthy. Only played like 70% of 2021 and then has been injured all of 2022 spring. Seems like Arik is ahead of him now, or at least in terms of targets. Bowers already was.
Bankz is the catalyst in the draft threads. The threads are as active as they are, because of Bankz and everyone firing about Bankz.
I’d 100% give up on the Falcons if we drafted Will fucking Levis over Will Anderson. I’d never forgive them.
