Likely in 2025 (if not sooner), given that this SCOTUS decision, not coincidentally, dovetails with court decisions on new laws that destroy voting rights throughout the country. Like, try to get the vote out all you want, they aren't going to let black people vote and/or they'll just let State legislatures step in and nullify the decision of the voting public. People thinking they'll be safe in California or New York from the Far Rights' coming reign of terror need to rid themselves of that notion immediately.

You don’t (shouldn’t) need a constitutional amendment to codify what the constitution already protects. That’s a bullshit argument to justify a decision made in bad faith.
Fleshing the argument out a little bit more - the right to abortion is a function of the right to due process. Due process is an amorphous concept not further defined in the Constitution, nor will you find a definition for the three things due process protects - life, liberty, and property. If your position is that abortion isn’t a right because it’s not spelled out in the Constitution, you are making the operation of due process subject to a super majority, which is the exact opposite way in which rights are protected.
Idk if you specifically meant my post in that, but I was operating under the assumption that this was basically the crux of this majority argument.
