I'm not entirely sure, i haven't looked too closely but i wonder if that storm isn't evolving as they thought with the first couple warnings. Doesn't look great for them. And ppl wonder why they have so warnings every year
In their defense, i bet they issued a new one with PDS wording when it was clear there was a tornado doing damage. It's been suggested to issue new ones in that situation. Or if you plan to do a tornado emergency, it's better to issue a new one than to upgrade the current warning. That way the WEA will go off with the emergency wording
When the recording includes your own fence being pulled apart about 20 yards from you, that tornado is too close. Good gracious.
It is because everyone wants to get that sweet zero meter video for social media clicks. All while doing it in their '13 Chevy Silverado or '08 Jeep Grand Cherokee in an area with a free radar app that updates every 5-10 minutes if they can even get cell services. The whole time they are yelling buzzwords that they heard/read on clips from the past. Not to mention the complete disregard for traffic laws. Also the idea of chasing at night puts off even the most experienced chasers. But not this crowd. It is only a matter of time before there is a major incident that kills a bunch of them. I can not image how many would have been hurt/killed if El Reno had happened today. The lack of basic storm knowledge becomes very clear when you look into their actions and the videos.
I'm surprised there hasnt been a major accident so far this year with some of the idiotic shit they put on video. Like the dude going 50 through a small town. Reed going the wrong way in a traffic circle and blasting through a red light in Andover. Yesterday there was a video of some moron getting too close then flooring it in reverse on the highway
Hey that's me This weather pattern is so fucky. Busted the drought but making my life absolutely miserable. Counting ducks while trudging through muddy corn and bean fields is not fun at all
