haha if she’s on social then it’s really all about the hashtags her local stuff took off when she started making mugs and cups for our kids’ teachers she also gave a baseball team mom cup that eventually every other mom of a player wanted
2/3rds has started tucking her pony tail up and over and pinning it with her hoody or hat and it’s not a bad look. Turns 12 tomorrow
Quick PSA for my fellow Dads out there with toddlers. The Hot Wheels Monster Truck 1:24 scale series is a massive hit. Kid hasn't been able to put it down for 2 weeks now and sleeps with it. Pair it with the book Pedro's Monster and obviously the Blippi Monster Truck song for endless entertainment. My wife asked for one a few years ago Knowing her computer skills doing stuff like power point presentations and word documents, I just kinda let it go and luckily she seems to have given up on it
We are a week in and he’s sleeping a ton. Every night we are getting about 6 hours a night. He only wakes to feed and get a change. Had my first terrible poop experience at 3 am today though.
My kid is probably coming next week or the week after. Practiced installing the uppababy car seat yesterday. Strapped a Pooh Bear into that bitch.
5 yo did one of those Mother’s Day things in school answering cute questions, handprint flower, etc. Last question: I love my mom more than… His answer: …my dad Little fucking shitbag
Vista gang roll out I wish my wife had agreed to the Uppababy car seat but she really liked Nuna so we have annoying adapters.
I just text Jigga this question but I thought I'd ask some of you in here when I saw the thread. Im not going to put names and schools out there BUT this happened to a buddy of mine. If your son was a starting QB true freshman last year at a Division 1 football team. All through spring camp they're praising him to you and then all of a sudden they pick up a Portal QB who now is going to be starting. Do you advise your son to hit the transfer portal as well.
Agreed. If they brought someone else in, they obviously don’t want him starting again. Unless they were up front all Spring about wanting an older QB to compete (not be given job right now), that’d be about the only reason I’d stick around.
Love that he is a few weeks older than my kid so I know what to start watching for. Oh and his little brother is only 4 months away.
There was nothing said about bringing in another guy. Its a fucked up situation for sure and feel bad for my buddy and his son
Our son is in kindergarten and today is his first field day. The parents were invited for the opening race which was a good way to start a Monday. Im not sure if there is a better day in elementary school then the annual field day.
We have to take my son in for allergy testing this afternoon. Not real sure what that all entails, but it doesn't sound fun at all. He breaks out in hives and little dots after he touches things and gets really swollen when he gets but by mosquitoes. He loves being outside but he is scared to go out these days because of his reactions. Hopefully we get somewhere with some answers and a plan moving forward.
We had a birthday party at one of those in-door trampoline places on Saturday for a kid in my son's kindergarten class. It was Star Wars themed and all the kids were given light sabers as thank you gifts for coming. It was awesome seeing all the boys loving Star Wars when all the parents grew up with it. One kid broke his and he was crying. My son gave him his and the boy went over and hugged him. Then when it was time to open gifts the boy whose party it was went up and hugged each person unprompted. It was great seeing how sweet these boys were and how grateful there were.
We took my son to the allergist three years ago because the same thing was happening. It sounds worse than it is but what they do is they test on the back. They prick the skin with different allergenics at once and then they wait 15 mins or so to see which had a reaction. My son was 3 and it didnt hurt. Looked way worse than it felt he said. He ended up being allergic to cats and a few different types of grass.
Anybody else have Doona car seat stroller? I love how it just immediately pops into a stroller. I hated carrying that thing around with the others. Anyways we had our third kid last week. He's awesome. But I really just want to talk about this badass car seat!
Apparently my child doesn't eat anymore. He's almost 2. A few months ago he would get an egg, strawberries/blue berries, and a french toast stick or waffle for breakfast. Now he east like a1/8th of it. Pretty much the same for most other meals. Apparently this is normal
Very normal sadly. My kid is getting pickier and pickier now, she'll turn 5 this month, although she's just stubborn about goddamn everything. It seems like 4 was worse than 3 for her becoming more defiant and pushy, I hope like hell that it's a phase that we see her age out of by 6-ish, been pretty stressful amongst other things.
That seems about right. My oldest didn’t start getting better until 4.5. My daughter turned 4 in April and it started getting easier in the last couple months but it’s very hit or miss.
I had this done when I was 10 or so. They do help as I was allergic to a bunch of stuff including fresh cut grass. Which got me out of mowing the yard but after a year or two of allergy shots, most of allergies either went away or got a lot better.
Kid is obsessed with the Bluey theme song. He could be throwing a complete tantrum on the other side of the house, as soon as the first note kicks in, he's sprinting over and ready to dance by the time the song goes "MOM". Also, muffin is a little shit and the dad is an absolute saint.
It takes up so much damn space in the car, but I will be praising its name when kiddo number 2 rolls around.
We ended up with a graco car seat, is very nice. Got a jogger stroller and a wagon/stroller thing. Also probably need to get an easily collapsible one that is basically just a frame on wheels for the carrier. Baby isn't big enough yet to sit in them without her carrier. Whoops.
