Wasn’t sure where to put this, but I just found this out. Ask anybody “what’s a rabbit’s favorite thing to eat” and they’ll tell you carrots, right? Well, rabbits don’t really eat carrots ever. The only reason people think rabbits like carrots is because of Bugs Bunny. And the only reason Bugs Bunny ate carrots is because it was a specific parody of Clark Gable in the movie It Happened One Night, where he talks while munching on carrots. It became Bugs’s signature and totally changed the mindset of the American public on rabbits and carrots after the public long forgot it was simply a movie reference.
It Happened One Night is a great movie, Fun Fact: It is one of the three movies to win the 'Big Five' at the Oscars (Picture, Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Screenplay). The other two were One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Silence of the Lambs
So I learned this too, and eat those three together often bc it has lots of nutrients, but some fitness douche did get all bent off of shape to me when I mentioned the amino acid thing. Apparently it’s still not the same as an actual complete protein or something. I didn’t really care bc I just eat it bc it’s delicious and healthy. Not trying to stack protein.
