My son is a freshman and on the first day of school several of the teachers asked the kids what they’d like to be called, since some don’t go by the government names, and their pronouns they prefer. I get it that mine is older but asking for pronouns is most definitely a thing now.

fwiw it depends on how much her parents talk to her about certain things. My 14 yo went on a rant about this ruling not changing what women will do just that it will put them at risk because of how they’ll have to do it.
