One thing I didn't mention about MoM was how much I loved showing Wanda as something close to an Omega level mutant. Just crushing everything in her way.
One of the YouTubers said the three kids he beat up in Ep 4ish? Had Rama-Tut’s symbol on their clothes.
Finally saw it last night; i was a little disappointed. I thought America was a bit too damsel-y and SWitch was a bit one dimensional as a villain. I did like how Evil Wanda looked a lot more crazed than Alternate Wanda. I think the movie suffered from trying to fit a Raimi horror movie into a Disney PG-13 box. Mid tier for me.
this is how I felt. Great movie but needed JUST a bit more in the violence/gory category. Then the 3rd eye, And then “killing off” Scarlet Witch. and GOR the god-butcher is on his way.
Really mad they took those connection out of Moonknight cuz I thought it would be great to see him show up in Thor

Loved it. There's no other Disney property that works for but it's so perfect for Strange. Just enough kitschy gore and horror, some quality dark comedy, and jump scares. That was a top-5 Marvel experience for me and I didn't even love the first DS that much. Sincerely hope Raimi is on board for the third act. The fan service with the Illuminati was incredible. I'd gotten no spoilers(fun fact: the night after I saw it, I got a YT preview that had a clip of the entire group in it; I'd have been livid if I saw that before) so I thought there was certainly no way we were just going to get Xavier and RR in an Illuminati clip this quickly after Disney resecured their rights). Absolute delight. When Strange buries alternate Strange, you just knew we were getting a zombie at some point. The magic music scene will be one of those I rewatch on YT for years to come. I don't think we've gotten a clear explanation on why Wong is the SS, right? It's been a running joke for 2 movies now but it's kind of a mystery. Someone mentioned it earlier but with no mutants officially in this universe, I think they painted Wanda very much in that light. Her ability to fight off Charles in her own head is massive. I've seen some complaints about Wong's motivations for taking Wanda to the mountain. I don't mind if you paint Wong in that "not willing to sacrifice single beings for the greater good" in that single moment but it doesn't jive with him later being willing to sacrifice Chavez. I think they tried to side-step that by him saying that no one had ever traveled to the mountain and lived(his inability to comprehend Wanda's power at that point seems unlikely) and he also didn't know exactly what the mountain was, other than the origin of the Darkhold. Either way, there's some inconsistencies that really only bug me if I pull at a thread well after I've experienced the movie.
Ive been wondering that with the delayed LnT trailers. The wall of dead/imprisoned gods in the pyramid just screamed Gorr to me. I am wayyy too excited for that movie/storyline.
finally saw MoM. loved it. girl that played Chavez is awesome. Cumberbatch was great. Olsen is a superstar. couple things that bothered me - what was up with with the musical note fight I thought Donald Duck was going to come through a portal chasing the Fantasia hat (Philarmagic joke). end credit scenes were underwhelming. and my hottest take - Krazinski as Richards sucked. felt like I was watching a Michael Scarn movie.
Visually beautiful, great characters (and surprises), right amount of humor... this was near perfect for a comic junkie like me. Easily the best Marvel movie I've seen since IW - maybe longer.
Decided to put on Black Widow tonight. Still a good side story film. Third act should of been cleaner, oh well. Have always wondered, Pugh is the only MCU female hero not to wear a skin tight suit. Even Weisz throws on a skin tight suit in the same film, always wanted to know that back story.
I've heard Pugh is very anti conformist when it comes to how female bodies are portrayed in popular culture. Like she refuses to work out to make her body look like the typical Hollywood star. So it wouldn't be surprising if she said no to having the skin tight suit.
Just saw MoM! Wow. Not sure if it's been discussed but spiderman seems to be the factor that made our strange a better person. Other universes didn't have spiderman and they all used the "in the grand scheme of the multiverse their sacrifice is..." just like strange did in no way home.
Not as many trippy scenes as the first one imo It’s probably still enjoyable but probably not worth the difference in ticket price.
Oh... Would be fun if the cause of the incursion wasn't anything to do with NWH or MoM but because he spent so many years in the dark dimension getting killed by dormammu
Not that I doubt it's going to be great, but how did she see it already? US release date is 8th July.
