they had a corporate event for Doosan and he must be sponsored by them. He hit shots with each group on 11.
major Terrell Pryor energy on that one there Shark https://onwardstate.com/2009/09/08/pryor-everyone-murders-people/
"Not everybody is the perfect person in the world. Everyone does , kills people, murders people, steals from you, steals from me. I just feel that people need to give him a chance." -Terrell Pryor -Greg Norman
I bought two Shark logo shirts and a hat last year, and now I can’t wear them. It’s been really hard on me
Anyone happen to be Oahu veterans? Going for a week with the in-laws in a month. Hidden gems with “cheap” walking rates would be greatly appreciated
Have a draft kings team with Munoz... Also had CT Pan who withdrew after lock. On a positive note.. Playing 18 today with three of my best friends. Makes my day so much better having that to look forward to.
Upgraded to an enclosure from a net for garage golf. Definitely recommend for the people in here doing indoor builds. Totally different experience
I’m sorry, but there’s zero fucking chance that’s the case. Just don’t have yardage books? Every fucking club has those available at all times. GTFOH.
Headed to visit my wife’s friend in Monterey one last time for Memorial Day before they get re-stationed elsewhere. Have a round booked at Pasatiempo and was planning on saying screw it and playing Pebble one more time but the 8th green renovation has me hesitant, so that round is still undecided. Wonder if I sit out front of Cypress with my clubs if I could beg someone enough to let me in. I’d settle for MPCC too, I’m not picky
I’m allegedly playing MPCC next weekend. Shore course. Most random/odd deal ever. I think I mentioned I had a Craigslist club purchase fall through, but the seller and I kept BSing about equipment and ended up meeting up to play. He bought a driver from some dude who happened to be a member last weekend. That guy invited him out with a +1. I got the nod
I haven’t been able to play much this year so far, with my schedule and the weather. Even my 9’s and range days. Only second 18 of the year. I just sucked all over the course. Only positives. - every 5 foot putt and under was sunk. - I hit the pin from 90 on a bump and run. - hit new tsi3 wood off the deck for 245. - same 3wood 265 off the tee. Distances werent bad with irons/wedges on approach just sprayed them everywhere.
This sounds like one of those “too good to be true” type things and only about a 10% chance it ends in you being his prisoner. Lucky Looks like an awesome area, didn’t know you were so close to Monterey. Wife is hanging with her friend while I go to Pasa but wants to join for the other round, she likes walking along at places like Pebble. Morro Bay might be a little more of a day trip than we’d like but I bet the drive down is well worth it
It is a really cool hidden gem of an area. Growing in popularity mostly due to the wine scene in Paso Robles, but the Central Coast is a great place to get away from the sheer population density of California while retaining the weather and outdoor scene perks. I rarely even bother leaving. The drive to Monterey is a breeze. Nondescript and fast taking the 101. Beautiful down Hwy 1 but takes a little longer obviously Ive been meaning to get up north more myself. Lots of tracks on the bucket list I haven’t played - see all. Wasn’t playing my first few years out here then had a kid. Eyeballing Poppy with seriousness due to the NCGA discount Anyway, if the stars align, and you decide to go for a trip down, you would definitely dig it, and I’d be happy to play / pass along insider tips for the area
I played Poppy in December and it was sick. It is undergoing a lot of renovation though. Not sure what your cost is.
It definitely did detract, they had a sick looking par 3 closed. Temporary tees on a few holes. They could be finished as it was 4-5 months ago.
Anybody have experience with black irons? I'm considering pulling the trigger on a set of black P790s, but I'm a little worried about how the finish holds up.
Depends on the set of irons as manufacturers have tried to optimize the finish to be as durable as possible, but the vast majority of them wear extremely quickly on the club face. Not sure about the new P790s in particular.
