It feels like a few silos just always sell out. AJ1, AJ3, Dunks, and AM1. Nothing sits these in those silos. Any any collab on a decent silo is an auto sellout too. And like we talked about recently, EVERYONE is a reseller these days. If there's $20 profit, everyone tries for them. And then add in that those silos are impossible to get so everyone goes for every colorway even if it's not your favorite and it's just slim odds to get a pair.
On Reddit so idk how true but a guy said he bought a pair of Yeezys from Goat (obviously passed check) but when he tries to sell them, Goat said they were fakes. Now they are charging him 10 or so so they can ship them back to him. If the story is true then who the fuck knows what is authentic and what is a replica if you don’t actually get them from Nike or knowingly by replicas. It kinda fucking sucks.
Need to start serial numbering every pair, or like was said a QR code or something. Goat would obviously say the pair they shipped were legit and you swapped them out with fakes, in that situation.
Guy said stock x did the same to him. Bought them and decided he didn’t like them. Didn’t even take off the stock x green thing. Resold for a loss on stock x. Was told they were fakes.
If anyone can find these in an 8C I’ll shower you with likes. My son saw these in a Finish Line and hasn’t stopped talking about them. He turns 3 in a couple of weeks. No one seems to have his size
I’m not going to lie and I know I’m paranoid but it makes me question everything except the few pairs I’ve gotten from NDC, sneakers and confirmed. My “portfolio” on StockX is close to 10 grand that doesn’t include my Goat purchases or what I’ve hit on.
Well, in general knockoffs skip steps in production or use lower quality materials and have more lax quality control than the higher priced "real" name brands, so they shouldn't be expected to feel as good or hold up as well over the long term, but then some are made better than others.
I have made my opinion on this clear. I don’t care if anyone buys replicas. I really don’t. Spend you’re money how you want. My issue is simply when someone sells replicas/fakes as real. If I paid 350 in 2019 for Spider-Man’s and they are fakes I’d be pissed because I paid for authentic. The reason that would matter is because I can sell my authentic Spider-Mans that I’ve worn 2-3 times for 6-7 right now. I couldn’t do that with replicas. I wouldn’t try to do that with replicas, If someone pays 100 for some replica Spider-Man’s and knew they were reps why should I care. Again I don’t buy replicas I don’t care if anyone does just don’t sell me replicas and tell me they are real. My opinion on this has never changed you guys know this.
I don’t and you know this. All I’ve ever said is why should I care what someone buys. I only think replicas hurt the resellers and the shoe companies.
That's why I didn't say misleading words like replica or tribute or bootleg or lower quality factory sample or generic store brand or some acronym that implies lower quality like acc football or wnba
When I miss on the 72-10’s today, there will be a seed of doubt of where to purchase them from, which I’ve never had before. Curious to see where this whole discussion goes with the shoe brands, StockX, etc.
Nike says I got you. I love the 11’s but can only wear the lows to work, so they are usually a must get for me.
Its so stupid. I have to pay $57.46 over retail and theyre losing $5.30. I refuse. Ill catch a restock or I wont get them.
Same here but these resale prices are just crazy.. makes it toughs for me to keep some of these high dollar pairs. Haven’t busted out my amm1’s for this reason
