To make it better. Endo missed 2 point blank chances in the first half and the announcers kept saying they’ll be thinking about what could have been and then he scores the fucking stoppage time winner
Zalazar just scored a worldy for Schalke from his own end. Up 1-0 and really just need a draw to be champs. Hamburg in deep shit now...
Bremen up 2-0 and Darmstadt up 3-0 but Hamburg have equalized 25 minutes + stoppage to find a winner to stay in the relegation playoff
1) It’s the league award so “just in league” is whatever. 2) Nkunku had 11 more assists 3) That makes it surprising the guy who won 4 of 9 POTM won POTY over a guy who won 0? I didn’t see any complaints about his POTM awards
Only looking at one stat that’s lopsided in favor of your guy is absurd. 200 more minutes played as well. Their minutes per goal contribution are 3 minutes apart Let’s cherry pick some other stats. Goal creating actions per 90, .93 to .46 in favor of Nkunku. Shot creating actions per 90, 4.43 to 3.18 in favor of Nkunku. G+A-PK per 90, 1.06 to 1.01 in favor of Nkunku.
You got it all wrong, pal. I only cherry pick one stat and that’s goals, the only stat that matters. Those other things you mentioned don’t benefit my rooting interests and, therefore, will be excluded from this debate.
After wanting to find a Bundesliga team to follow during the season, I’ve settled on Leverkusen. How bad am I going to hate myself?
They’re the most underachieving club in Germany. Always stocked with young talent and always shit their pants in crunch time. When they’re on, they’re fun to watch. They’ve got great supporters and rich history, if you overlook that unfortunate Zyklon-B thing.
We need more Union heat itt. You should consider following them. We all pull for them when they’re not playing our squads of choice.
Was told the following by my very German friend: 1. Bayern Munich- Boring and predictable To root for, but it’s predictable success. 2. Dortmund- analogized to the Oakland As- competently run and occasionally in contention. Also said they have a great fanbase. Worth noting he’s from Dortmund and maybe not totally objective The only other thing I know is that Munich has won the league the last ten years and it’s generally not even close. As a Mets/Knicks fan most of my life, I’ve suffered enough. I deserve to have at least one nice thing.
More so that they run through a coach every other year, routinely take huge transfer fees and pay off the board before investing it back into the squad. This is the first window that they’ve dedicated to strengthening their defense, which has been suspect at best since ‘13
While they can’t be expected to be better than Bayern domestically, they should do much better on the champions league stage than they have lately. Too much talent running through their program not to.
