I always try for them. Still kick myself over these and the wave runners with how easily they were to get when they first came out. I snagged my wife a pair and just chose not to get myself any for no reason. The wave runners were available for a couple of days on YS.
size and a half up imo. im usually an 11.5 and i managed to get a pair of ochre ones a few months ago and size 13 fit me. ended up selling b/c i didnt like the color but yeah
My kids Naruto Jordans came in. What a bunch of cheap pieces of shit. Has this cheapo plastic feeling outer layer. Lol at them charging $130 for these. My kid won't care but that's disappointing.
My best friends grandfather is a shoe maker from Germany. He will custom make sneakers for people. Was pretty well known for it in Germany 30 years ago. Anyways, he said Nike is the cheapest quality of the shoe companies.
I still kick myself over the wave runners. I passed them up at retail atleast twice i think. Even passed up that preorder they did for them. They finally grew on me and i havent been able to get a pair any of the times theyve dropped since.
This is something that’s pretty hard to judge bc there's such a wide range of quality, especially with Nike. They make some really cheap shit that ends up in outlets but they'll make some really nice pairs too. Adidas is the same. New Balance is the only one that doesn't really make low end shit. New Balance is definitely a tier up, they don't have much cheap shit and their really nice is better than anything Nike or Adidas does.
Buying shoes is so much easier and fun than selling shoes. Made the decision to downsize, not to a specific number of pairs, but I have hundreds of pairs of shit from 2016-2018 just sitting in a storage locker. It's just such a daunting task to sell it all. Some are worn 1-2 times, which makes them even more of a pain in the ass. But even the ds stuff sucks when you're dealing with that many pairs. Been thinking about it for a while but put it off bc it seems like such a pain. Going to actually try to do it now.
It's 90% am1 and am90. Talked to Buddhakicks, think he's going to fly here and do a bulk buy. About the same net as stockx and I don't have to ship hundreds of individual boxes and he'll take the lightly worn stuff too. I'm not getting rod of everything, just shit I haven't worn in a year or more. There's just no point.
That's a pair I'll keep. I wear them semi-regularly. Can't remember if I have more pairs or not. It's more shit like this thats going for $400+ now. Makes no sense, someone else can have it.
Haha they aren't going anywhere. I'm not purging everything, I'll keep 50-100 pairs. I just don't need things I haven't opened a box of in 4-5 years.
They make stuff on the low end Nike/Adidas outlet trash scale? I haven't seen it, but can't say I'm a NB expert either. The suede and mesh I've seen on them are always legit.
I look forward to the Dunk Highs selling out immediately for everyone to flip at a $5 profit or a loss.
It's Nike's 50th Anniversary. How should we celebrate? Lets just restock a shoe that we restock every 2 weeks and just call it special. You mean like the Pandas? Yes!!!!!!!
I like these but i wish the liner matched the shoe. I ended up sending my maroons back. I didnt like them at all. You couldnt tell in pics but the upper part of the leather was faded and didnt match the rest of it. I knew i wouldnt wear them and i didnt care about having the whole pack because i knew i wasnt going to get the black pair so i just sent them back.
