I’m sure I’ll end up taking a half tab, wandering off, and perusing art installations for the majority of my time. Music playing in the background.
These pics are convincing me to go back out for Weekend 1 again next year. Had a 6 straight year streak stopped in 2019
it really is ridiculous.... I enjoy it as much as anyone, but these girls literally act like they are gearing up to get on stage. Do any of them even do drugs? Have fun? Or just pics the whole time...
Expect at least 3 hours between outfit selection - approvals - photos for themselves - then photos for instagram and tik Tok videos which can easily raise the timeline. Then having to go to multiple parties and make sure to get photos at all the top ones. They're basically doing work shifts while out here largely.
They definitely have fun - and many definitely do drugs - but I had fewer work calls than several of the girls that were out here.
Just seems like a lot of pressure. It is a music festival. Your phone should be away. You're supposed to be dirty, relaxed, and under the influence.
That’s why I was saying it seems like Coachella is more about being seen/social event than a music fest.
Eathan can correct me if I'm wrong but I think most of these pictures were taken at Revolve parties or other off-site Coachella related things. 100k people actually go to Coachella and for the most part people actually at the festival are just as into music/enjoyment as any other fest. But tens of thousands go to Palm Springs that week for events around Coachella like Revolve, Neon Carnival, etc. and don't even think of going to the festival. I think that's where Coachella gets the "influencer" reputation from. It's kind of like going to a college campus to just tailgate but not go to the game
Undercard lived up to expectations. Small font acts were incredible. Probably my favorite year out of the 8 I’ve been to.
Yup. Made it back home yesterday morning. Dead. No voice. Coughing from the dust. Sunday was incredible. Yuma and Sahara stages the best.
I didn't see an EDC thread - the outfit selection process was hilarious and it's thus far been aggressive as expected. I'll post some photos tomorrow.
Welcome to my home. Let me know if you need any rec’s downtown. But I’m sure you got what you need on lock.
